Crazy kid at SBE

Do you not agree that more people these days need to be hit upside the head?

jk, lol, lmao, imho
Not that some people don't 'deserve', just that those that deserve are probably the ones who woul be doing a large % of the hitting.

Who gets to decide who's gonna get it? It turns out to be a might-makes-right scenario...fast forward to guns and revenge.

If you could just punch people in the face and then go have a drink, like in the old days, you wouldnt have to out people on forums. theres no resolution these days without having to go to court. lol

Agreed! Smashing an idiot's face in would keep the idiots out of the pool room. God, I wish I could have messed up Jason Hunt when he came to my town. But he'd prolly call the police like a little *****.

I saw a Drunk guy sat nite yes it was him(Mike)
he was warming up and and having a good time laughing and joking with us!
he was glazed for sure and drinking
his opponent in the pro am had cancelled out as he was still alive in the pro event so he received a bye and moved on to the match where all the hysteria occurred which I did not witness.
The next morning he played Dunemore(sic) who looked like he was a pro golfer the way he was dressed (compliment) I watched match
Mike got some bad rolls and left to get a smothie came back then left to go to bathroom maybe
ref came over and told him anymore u are gone from building!
Mike lost that match!
He did not seem to be talking trash as he was sober!
Why did offended player not talk to Hopkins staff?
Charlie w won that event so he must not have been affected to much!
if he or anybody had a problem with a impaired player it would have been dealt with there instead of here!
Hey we all make mistakes let it go!!!

No it was not. Street justice works! You are prolly weak, old or have no guts. After you crack someones skull and put them in their place, typically they are more respectful. Works for me

Nice, caveman!

You still gonna feel the same way when you walk out of the store and somebody punches you and takes that which you just purchased?

Young men who play pool that have no manners and are just plain rude trying to get a game with me. It ain't gonna happen. Most of these guys have no $$$, no pot, and no window to throw it out of. I am older. I like to gamble when I play pool. I have disposable income that I spend on pool. I will not match up with people that act like jerks (young or old). I think these kind of people just don't get it and never will. End of story. Have a nice day.

The only thing I can say to all the people bashing this guy for the way he was acting is this.

When you do something wrong in your life, don't get mad when someone does the very same thing to you.

And in the words of Dufunny, "what will make you laugh, will make you cry"

You guys call this justice, what he deserved, I would never do that, blah blah, wait until you do find yourself doing something and someone does this to you, then check back in to this thread.

Been there, done that. I expect repurcussions from my bad actions.

No, actually, I don't think this is justice.. I think justice would be his wife knowing that he says he screws girls at the gym and also for his opponent to beat his ass outside afterwards. Call me old-fashioned. ;)

If people don't want an ass whoopin, they shouldn't go around asking for one.

I know Mike a little and he has his moments but he is not a bad kid.
He really wants to be a great player and does try hard, so Im not gonna act like what he did was ok.

But really you are gonna post the guys mugshot? thats way worse than anything he did at any tourney. thats really out of line

Agreed..People get drunk and slip sometimes..It happens...The mugshot though...That is out of line...I know 20 people on az that have mugshots for things they may not ever be talked to again if posted..Its not right to go that far..IMO

Put up 10 names and then we'll believe your claim. Kidding.

We agreed with it not being appropriate to link a public arrest record here and removed it.

Look ou folks, it ain't just jail, google'll getcha too!

I see nothing wrong with posting the mugshot, lets others know who or what they are dealing with. As an old time radio reporter in my area used to say at the end of his show, " If you don't want to make the news, just don't do it".

If he is as good a feller as some have tried to say, then he would have already been in contact with the op with an appology instead of his friends trying to take issue with the truth. imo, of course.

Repurcussions for bad decisions, poor behavior? Blasphemy!!!! :D

what if mike delawder did everything that is alleged , then you asked him to step outside to deliver some kind of justice, and he just lays a whoopin on you?

Mike is not exactly a small dude and he gives off a very " nothing to lose" attitude in general

Or you somehow lay a whoopin on him and the cops are called, then we are talking on azbilliards about the thread with dueling mug shots

thats the old double whammy !!!!!!

Its a bad situation at best and if it were me who acted like Mike in this situation, I would get a hold of the OP and offer an apology and maybe pay his entry fee in next years event.

But thats just me, what do I know

What you know is how to act the right way.

Something that is lost on others, all too often.

I was at the Carolinas Open one year, and two Florida players were feeling no pain, drinking their brewskies and gambling it up. Sugar Shane, Pookie, and a bunch of other well-known action men were also in the house. It was kind of fun listening to all the matching up before the games began.

Anyway, the two Florida players got mouthy with the person they were gambling with and said a negative remark about the owner of the pool room, which happened to be a well-respected pool man named Gene Hooker.

Two of the pool room "regulars," I guess you could say, instructed the two mouthy Florida players to leave. They were a little drunk, anyway, so it was probably best they did exit the premises.

What happened later was horrible. The two Florida players got mouthy with the "regulars," and they were taken outside and beaten up very badly. I will never forget it. I didn't like seeing it, either. :sorry:

Alcohol and gambling don't mix sometimes. There are some folks who can drink and hold their liquor okay, but there are some folks who can't hold their alcohol, and their personalities change drastically.

I quit drinking alcohol in 1978. :grin-square:
