Crazy kid at SBE

he is not a bad kid, who has his moments

I've often wondered; how many "moments" does a kid have to have before people quit considering him good, and start considering him bad? Just curious.

I'm also curious as to why this "kid" is not being called a man if he has a wife and child? Shouldn't he be considered a man? And aren't grown men - with wives and children - expected to act more responsibly than kids?

Roger

I think the poster was expressing his run with this "kid" and by reading the post the "kid" is an a hole, there are plenty of big mouthed a hole's out there, esp in the pool/hustling world. Call it like it is a spade is a spade.

Hmmmm

Im not saying its not public record, that doesnt mean its ok to post a link on here.
I just think its low class, my opinion

You are way off here my friend. "Low class" was acting like a drunk idiot at SBE and spoiling somebody elses weekend.

The mug shot photo was exacting a little revenge or punishment, however you want to call it. But maybe now he will think that his actions will not go unnoticed and without punishment. And quite humerous to the rest of us !! !

If he wants to play the stupid card, expect the world to see what a real idiot he is. If you don't want folks snooping in your business, then don't screw around with somebody at SBE !!!

Revenge is a dish best served cold !

best post on the subject!

Wow I didn't realize how judgmental everyone on here is.
All I can say is you guys must not spend much time in pool halls or tournaments because there are constantly players getting loud and doing things of this nature. Come to think of it the railbirds usually leave around 9pm so maybe that is the case here, start staying a little later and the action will pickup I promise.

I'm not condoning how Mike acted, I personally have never acted like that, I am just sharing how I see it.

and the pro's wonder why they can't make a living at the game....

sponsors want 1- an audience that has disposable income to buy their products 2- more important, something they will proudly put their name on

much of what I saw at SBE satisfies neither

I know mike delawder from seeing him around at Florida tournaments. I realize that he acted like an ass at this tournament but James Robert is right, the kid isn't that bad, just was being immature and stupid is all. Mike has alot of nervous energy when he plays, but he loves pool, and has gamble too...he is like alot of guys in the pool room. Again, im not trying to justify his actions, but everyone here who has been around pool alot... Who of us hasn't made mistakes?

Anyways, carry on with the pitch forks and getting the fire started for the bonfire....

I see these kinds of guys playing pool all the time.

Young men who play pool that have no manners and are just plain rude trying to get a game with me. It ain't gonna happen. Most of these guys have no $$$, no pot, and no window to throw it out of. I am older. I like to gamble when I play pool. I have disposable income that I spend on pool. I will not match up with people that act like jerks (young or old). I think these kind of people just don't get it and never will. End of story. Have a nice day.

Okay can anybody tell me how to erase a thread?? I started this thread to inform people on how this guy acted and didn't want it to turn into such an argument. I can't seem to find how to delete it, can someone help?

Thanks

But I think you need to ask the moderator.

Tuff call.

We all make mistakes and act in ways unbecoming of ourselves.

Here's to hope that we all receive consideration for our flaws and live our lives without impeding the freedoms and rights of others.
:toast:

I know he has had a suspension from one of the tours here in florida for the same kind of behavior,so it has happened before.

If you could just punch people in the face and then go have a drink, like in the old days, you wouldnt have to out people on forums. theres no resolution these days without having to go to court. lol

Wow. That is so shortsighted.

Though you did save yourself a bit with 'lol'.

I beg to differ my friend... The reason why their rude is just how they get to your ego and fire you up to play them in games they KNOW they're gonna win. Seen it over a hundred times. Its intimadition and they know it and play you if your weaker than them. Sad that most cant be gentleman about matching up but if that were the case it would be boring to watch a match unfold. Sitting there sipping tea and occasionally murmuring "Very good shot sir..."

The whole THEY DONT HAVE money part depends on whom you are speaking about. I watched Paul from Jersey BURN (yes light on fire!!) 500 dollars that he won from a guy he didnt like saying " I dont need your f*cking money!!!!" This year in the pit at the SBE!!

WOW!!!! I guess he doesnt considering that he had a BR the size of a grapefruit in his pocket!!! I heard he did the same thing last year with a 1000!!! So if your say they dont have money you must be being whoofed at by Nits and not stone cold gamblers!!

I think we need step back and realize we live in the US where if you do something stupid, there a good chance that people will eventually find out about it. I think celebrities and politicians live with this on a daily basis. I don't see how its any different with plain Joes and Janes. You could live your life as a saint and the day you commit a crime, its etched all over your record. If its serious enough, it might even get news coverage. The sad thing is that society rarely remembers all the good stuff we do. Its expected. Its all the bad moments that catch our attention.

What Mike did is obviously upsetting people but being a US resident, miramachine and JAM have every right to express what they want. If you can't accept this, then you're living in the wrong country.

The SBE creates its own enviorment like no other in pool ,its like vegas in the east,, its once a year and alot of people let thier hair down for the long weeekend thats what makes the event what it is and thats what people go thier for,, its not the gold standard for a example of how people act or dress or gamble,, u come to expect something outside the box at the SBE and I for one hope it never changes to just another boring pool turny
