Amen to that. I think this post has run out of gas. Lets just say Kevin and Kristi had a misunderstanding and it is finished...Lets move on...
Ya gotta admit, even though Kevin really didn't deserve the full nelson body slam delivered by Kristi, it was kind of funny. 
Kevin could have shook it off a LOT better though.
I like Kevin and his posts. Maybe he needs to improve the ventilation a little in his shop, so what, as long as he keeps making great cues, he'll be fine. He's a very smart guy with a lot of passion for what he does and he puts a lot of free time into answering questions here that wouldn't always help his business.
But Kevin, sometimes the further you stick you're neck out... well... you know the rest.
The funny thing is that I was looking at Kristi's pictures before her post and I was going to pay a compliment to her and say that most times, pictures don't capture the personality some women radiate that really makes them super attractive in person and I was going to use Jeanette Lee as an example.
But even after meeting Jeanette for only a few minutes, like I did, it would be clear to anyone that Jeanette would have never made a post like Kristi's.

I would be lieing if I said I don't enjoy this type of thing. I like conflict what can I say. BUT out of respect to the two participants I think this thread needs to go bye bye. Mr. Wilson you have deleted threads far less offending than this one and I think its time to throw this one in the drink. Two peoples reputations are at stake here and Mr. Varney is taking the worse of it. Just delete it and lets move on. I for one dont look at either of them any different because I dont believe what I even see half the time, much less what I read.

Lambros makes one of the best playing cues out there, and that might be an opinion but it's one based on something real, like wait-list/price point/availability/etc.

Of course I caught that, I do read posts all the way through. And of course he's talking about me, and I don't really care. I've never been coy about how I feel towards Varney, and yes, I rubbed his nose in Kristi's post, because what she said validated exactly, to the tee, my gripes with the man. So yes, I was transparent, because I never tried to disguise my intentions.
Now whether it's sad or not is debatable, much like my opinion that NYCdude's delusion that his charity towards Varney by forking over the asking price on that cue actually validates the original asking price is sad is debatable. But, that's just my opinion! Feel free to think it is not sad.
In any case, I'm glad that NYC dude's piercing observation brought you such joy, it is christmas and I'm happy for you.

I think the problem is that it appears that KV was trying to be a bit of a matchmaker and Kristi resented that. Instead of looking like a whiner about KV trying to set her up with some unknown admirer, she goes after him for the rest of what he posted. This is, in my opinion, why she seemed to come across like she's borderline over reacting.
I've stayed out of this thead, except to read it, but I don't think this angle has been considered.
