CSI 10 ball

Shane beat Warren and is now in a good spot to win his group and get to the semis.

im gonna go out on a wild limb and guess you ordered the PPV lol. thanks for the updates... makes us sweaters able to know is going on... id keep up in the action room if i could access it...

Ko Pin Yi defeats Thorsten 9 to 7 (coming behind from 5 to 7).

The deciding match on who goes on to the semi-finals will be his match with SVB tomorrow. If Ko beats SVB, they will be tied at 2 wins and 1 loss each. However, the tie breaker will be who is the winner between the two. Therefore, Ko will be the semifinalist from his group if he prevails over SBV tomorrow.

EDIT: Oh, wait a minute. What if Kiamco beats Thorsten tomorrow? Then, there will be 3-way tie for first in their group at 2 to 1 each. How should the tie be broken then?

Another Great comeback by Ko vs Thorsten after vs SVB other day. Ko is fast becoming comeback clutch king.
My guess if 3 tied in same points they use racks won and lost to decide
1 out of 4 players or 25% go into knockout round is tough. Most tourneys have 50% or top 2 out of 4 go thru :)

Has anyone been able to access the 'looping' of yesterdays PPV, this morning?

Or is it not 'looping' this morning?

What kinda sucks about this format is that now someone like Thorsten still has another match but can't win.

yes it sucks. Most tourneys have 50% of players in group stage go to KO stage but here only 1 out of 54 (25% ) go to KO stage. If it was top 2 out of 4 go to KO stage, Thorsten would still have chance of going thru but now he is first to be eliminated after Day1
I mean what is he playing for-playing for pride and prevent a total whitewash of 3 losses?

Yes, professional pride. But, also, Hohmann can still play a role in who goes through from that group (if Ko defeats SVB), so he should still give it his best.

And that's part of the problem: He's out but he can affect what happens. It's like an invitation for funny business. Not that Hohmann would do something like that, but there shouldn't be built-in incentives for it.

I think they should have just kept the format like last year- an open tournament in both 10 ball and 8 ball or just make it a regular bracket system with these 16 guys and have a random draw to prevent such scenarios like this.
