CSI INVITATIONAL 8-BALL (July 23-25, 2014) 16 Players (Winner $8K/ Runner up $5K)

If we do see the Ko brothers face off against each other in the finals I predict that Ko the younger defeats Ko the elder this time around.

They have H2H record 2-2 so it can go either way in final

My concern is CSI will ban these Ko brothers next year since they are dominating both tourneys LOLOL

If you look at top competitions like football Champions League,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013–14_UEFA_Champions_League_group_stage#Tiebreakers the more important tiebreaker after number of points is
"superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question" which is same as Head to Head racks so you are right, head to head is higher priority tiebreaker

In football it varies. Some too leagues use goal difference, some use head to heads.

Ko breaking at 4-2

Things about 8 ball is if you are good breaker like Baby Ko each time you break you can see a ball and even choose So chances are if you do not break dry or scratch you are on a roll and should run out
So now Ko has stolen one of Thorsten's break and Ko won the lag which means Thorsten need to steal 2 of Ko's breaks which is tough. Ko just has to hold his break and he is on way to final :D

I'm sure this has probably been brought up already, but the first thought that entered my mind when I saw Germany vs. China/Taiwan in the semifinals was the difference between the respective country/region's sponsorship and training programs of all the participants. Europe and China, who have actual training programs, coaching and sponsorship for their players, vs. the gamblers from America and the Philippines.

There's a lot to be said about this event and a certain two players that faced some challenges and twice in two events showed up in the finals, but I'm not gonna say it.

Congrats to these two young me
