I've tried and occasionally use aiming techniques which includes cte/pro1. I think I've summed up the argument here before, but will do again.

Do aiming systems work? Yes they absolutely do work. I've used various systems and have reliably and confidently made shots using different systems.

Are aiming systems for everyone? No. Everyone is different. We are like snowflakes. Different and special, just like everyone else

there are a few people that make some decent points against the system, I will admit. Lou or Banks are not one of them and neither have a clue of what there talking about when it comes to CTE/PRO1. Neither can hold a debate with a user of pro1 and just throw general stuff out there.

If they want to start a thread I would gladly debate both of them or more on the subject all by myself...

FWIW I am with Pat on Steve's right to plop down an occasional offer here to share his knowledge with whoever is interested. He is a top player, and a gentleman to boot. You should be glad he drops in now and then to let folks know about such things. And I'm sure he thanks you from the bottom of his heart for bumping this thread so many times for him.

What amazes me is that the management and owners of this forum allow these HATERS to continually attack Stan Shuffett.

I think it's time for the MUZZLE to be applied to these HATERS or just permanently ban them if they even mention Stan Shuffett's name.

Stan has done more for pool than all of these worthless HATERS put together.

I don't care if I get another warning, ban or not because BANKS should be the one getting kicked the hell out of here. HE is a NOBODY, NOTHING, SHORT TIME PLAYER OF POOL with ZERO KNOWLEDGE compared to Stan. I began playing pool at the age of 8 and basically consider myself a lifelong student of the game. I have top 10 national finishes in the games of 9-ball, 8-ball, and 1-pocket. I grew up learning the game of bank and later became a 100-ball runner in straight pool. My most memorable match was in 1984 at the Tar Heel Open where I ran the 1st 5 racks of 9-ball against Hall of Famer Dallas West and winning 11-4 as was noted in The National Billiard News. My most notable tournament victory came in Athens, Georgia in 2002 at Murphy’s Brass Rail winning a Southeast Open Tour event.
I have been a billiards instructor for 29 years. I obtained my initial BCA training under Jerry Briesath in 1989 and his teachings have been the foundation for my game and for what I have imparted to others. In 1992, I became one of the original 19 chartered members of the BCA Instructors’ Program as we know it today. In October, 2006, I added BCA Advanced Level training to my instructing credentials.

My personal teaching facility is a dedicated studio housing a 4½ x 9 Diamond Pro. It is located at my home in historic Greensburg, which is centrally located in the heart of Kentucky. Hotel accommodations are located within 15 minutes of my home. After a very successful career of 30 years, I retired from public education in May of 2005.

In April of 2010 Stan refined his Pro One aiming system into what is now known as 'Stan Shuffett's CTE/Pro One'. Stan released his Basic Center to Edge and Pro One DVD in January 2011. In December of 2013, Stan released his CTE PRO ONE DVD 2 "The Final Chapter, Aiming in a New Dimension".

Stan completed his training for PBIA Master Instructor in February of 2014 under the direction of Scott Lee.

I don't think this is even about CTE . It's about provocation and retaliation .
It's sad that some have so much spite in them that someone like Stevie can't even mention CTE without someone going in attack mode.
I understand Joey resorting to what he did when it seems the attacks went un -noticed.

What bugs me is that this same crowd has used this trigger to end all aiming threads in the main forum just because they could. They are not interested in it and instead of just not participating in it they choose to try and start a fight to get it noticed
