I bought the DVD back in May 2013 and it's a bunch of crap!
I tried to learn it and even ask for help from a local one pocket player who claimed it worked but he couldn't demonstrate it or explain it and admitted he doesn't use it either.
It is nothing more than a repeatable PSR to get you in line
You're right, but you are wrong too.
You're right; It encourages you to do a PSR.
You're totally wrong; it's not crap.
This system provides the foundation from which all other shots in pool originate.
If you don't have a foundation, you will not have a basis from which to make improvements and adjustments. This system provides you with a basis from which to develop all shots.
As a comparison. In golf, the line your ball and the target are on one "railroad track." The tips of your toes are aligned on the other "railroad track." THEY NEVER CROSS!
If you continually top the ball, then more than likely, your "toe-railroad track" crossed over your "ball to target railroad track" crossed. Knowing that, you can then make an adjustment.
Without this basis of aiming your golf shot can be adjusted. If you're not properly aligned, then you're only guessing on what needs to be changed for improvement.
CTE is an alignment. Once you "GET IT!", you can then begin to understand how to make adjustments to your pool shot/alignment.
When a comment is made, "it's crap, and I asked someone to explain it to me. And they couldn't do it either." That sounds to me, you haven't got to where you understand the system (you haven't seen the perception).
I would encourage you to continue to find someone who can spend the time with you, providing YOU! want to learn the system, and teach you this aiming system.
I am greatful for, the time, knowledge, patience, education, and sharing of this system, that Stan has provided to ALL OF THE POOL COMMUNITY!
As for all of the bickering from this original post, too bad for those that haven't grasped the concept.
To the defenders, I can relate from my experience trying to teach this system to my friends. It's difficult to do. They have to want to improve.
And to the OP comments, I can appreciate his excitement!
During my lessons, I can't tell you how many, " No f'ing way that just happened!.".
To all of the doubters, This is the real deal!
To the fortunate few who have taken lessons, and get it, Cheers!
