Cue Case mishap

When dealing with someone like this would you have

  • Refunded him his money, no questions asked

Man, some of you guys are just RUTHLESS :duck:

I just refunded the man his money so I could be done with him. I guess when I need to STRON ARM someone..I will just come get you guys to stab them in the forehead with a icepick :thud:

I might try to contact AZhousepro and see if he can erase the iTrader that you left for him. That's probably the only thing that I would do different...I think you handled it the best way that you could.

Yea, I have done that....I dont want to give him anything he doesnt deserve..if he would have just been civil about it, it wouldnt have been a problem at all.....but man, he came out firing assuming I was robbing him, thats what really chapped my azz..oh well......

If he would have said that he could get it for 16.95 shipped to his door, I would honestly have told him he could have it for that...but when I dug and actually found out he would have had to pay shipping and it would have cost him 25.05 to have it sent to him, and with all his rude comments, I just felt it was better to refund him his money and be done with it....

Cue Deal

I want a $280.75 refund on a Willie Hoppe cue I paid $300 for.
Just found out I could have bought it $19.25....shipped in a black tube.
 
What a dick! You handled it better than I would have, lol. Of course that guy has been a member here for 4+ years and only posted 4 times, so I say screw him! Who the hell is gonna worry about what that guy says or does anyway. I had 4 posts in my first hour as a member! lol! I think a ban is in order here....

You never told us or made it clear that you had not yet sent the case. :frown: I think most of us that replied thought you had already shipped it.
Of course you send the money back minus any fees that paypal charged you to accept the payment. He choose to cancel the deal.
I don't feel to bad though because he still deserves the red for acting like a nit and sending you threat messages. However I probably would have voted different or ignored this thread altogether had you made it clear that the case was not yet shipped.
 
$25 for a case? Feels he got cheated? Looking for a bargain or a better price. Feel sorry for that guy. He will go thru life chasing bargains until he finally finds a way to get shafted.

I grew up in a Polish neighborhood. That was the mentality there. Always looking for a bargain. Never satisfied and always feeling that there was a better deal somewhere else. They keep looking until they find that bargain only to find out that something is not the same. Took me a few years to break the same habit but am glad that I was able to. Some never do. I always say that they keep shopping until they find a way to get screwed. They spend more time and efford than it is worth.

Like the old vaudeville joke goes. How much for the apple? 25 cents. 25 cents what a rip, the guy on the next block is selling them for a dime. Then go buy them there. I would but he doesn't have any. Great! If I didn't have any I would be selling them for a nickel.

I would refund him the money immediately, and let him fade into the ether. It is a shame that people like him/her are around, but I sure would NOT let it ruin your day, not even a bit.

I am sorry I did not make that clear:frown:...No, the case was never shipped. I got his NIT emails threatening to burn me over this. He did not research it enough to still see I was selling it to him cheaper then he could have bought it. I never posted on here to sell them, he sought me out from a post I made for a friend to let him have some cheap cases. I told him a price, he accepted.....then he did some price checking and seen Seyberts sells them cheaper...but he did not see that they had shipping charges and if he would have bought that case from them, he would have spent more money. He paid me in full, I gave him positive Itrader...so I have contacted Mike about getting the Itrader retracted.

No matter what you do for them, they will not be happy. Bet they'll bad rap (rep) you even after you refund them! Keep the money. Ship the case.
