Shawn,

This person's a nit. Plain and simple. Bet they drive around endlessly looking to save a dollar at grocery stores and not consider the cost of the gas and wear and tear. No matter what you do for them, they will not be happy. Bet they'll bad rap (rep) you even after you refund them! Keep the money. Ship the case.

Lyn
Then he does a chargeback and you are out the money and the case.
Yeah the guy is a NIT but why would you even think about continueing to deal with someone who you know is a NIT.
Get out while the getting is good before you really get screwed.
I would have minused any paypal fees it cost you but he would have probably NITTED out over those couple of bucks also. ;)
Shawn, You did the right thing. Like you said you were not really trying to sell it anyway.

All you have to do is look at the ITRader I have given out in the last few days

About that iTrader, this type of interaction is why it exists. To protect BOTH the buyer and the seller in online transactions on this site.

This was NOT a good transaction, a buyer agreed to buy a pool cue case, shipped for $25, which is within a dollar of the cheapest online sites out there including shipping, and then he backed out of the deal because he thought he found it a buck or two cheaper elsewhere, demanding a full refund.

This is a guy that I and I am sure most other people on AZB would rather NOT have any business dealings with, and you are making him seem just great with the positive feedback you gave him. The right thing for you to do is to give him poor itrader feedback and explain briefly why, so that other people who do business here have the proper information to go by.

ATM you are actually liable to cause another seller to get into a crappy transaction with this guy based on a glowing itrader feedback you gave him for a brutal failed transaction. Itrader is meant to protect business dealings on this site and if people simply throw out good feedback on something like this because they don't want to step on toes they are simply destroying any effectiveness the system has.

I gave him the positive ITRader as soon as I recieved payment. Just about 30 minutes before I was going to ship the case, I read his emails demanding a refund. So I spoke with Mr Wilson, and he forwarded it to Mike so he can remove the ITrader...I do believe in this case it was a done deal, and he backed out because he thought he was saving money...Im all for someone saving money and if he could have really saved 10.00 I wouldnt have had a problem, but his nasty emails to me, and the fact he wouldnt be saving money anyways is what got my panties in a bunch..I do feel he deserves bad ITRader...but I dont want to do it if it is not warranted

Just the reason you should wait for buyer to leave first or at least make sure they are happy with their purchase before you leave feedback.
That way deals that go ary can be privately & peacefully undone.
The best move would be to give Mike a chance to remove it. I hope he does. But if not you should negate your premature positive with a follow up negative.

Mike could you Please help:help: us out here.
also Why No Yellow Banner? for staff

but I dont want to do it if it is not warranted

It is warranted. Simply give him bad rep and a brief explanation that explains why he is getting it. That is enough that alot of people will think twice before wanting to do any business with him.

Not hard for us to figure out who it was.

You never know who you are dealing with on the internet. I've met some of the nicest people you ever want to deal with and some that I wish i'd never dealt with. Due to the amount of money involved i'd give a refund to end the problem. It's cheaper in the long run even if you lose a couple of dollars it's better to move on..........

Thanks guys! Im on my phone right now, when I get to my computer I will send him NEG ITrader

I have a Word document with people's name on it. When I read something like this, I put that persons name on the list. That way I never do business with them. I may not remember why but it doesn't matter.

I have started a list as well..I have about 14 names on mine right now of people I do not want to deal with for one reason or another.

All I can say is I feel sorry for you, maybe you just don't understand, you shouldn't take advantage of forum members. Maybe, you should start thinking that everyone is not a FISH, and leave your hustling at the tables not on the forum.
Beware of this member, he will try to take advantage of anyone he can. It's sad to think you would try to screw over someone for $4.00, but you got caught and your excuses just don't make it.

No, if I was more expensive, I would have gladly refunded you your money.

I have no problem refunding money. But you didnt know that there was shipping on top of what you were going to pay, and the case would have then been more money from them.

Just look at who I have dealt with and my rep on here...I say it speaks for itself

......Hey bud, you have a great day!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Just like when Shawn sent me that absolutely gorgeous birdseye maple cue minus the shaft and ripped me for $32 plus $7 shipping
to Canada. I'll never forgive him.
OK, I'll stop being facetious now.
Shawn could have easily put a shaft on that and sold it for $150.

It's sad that a grown man would ***** and cry over $4 because he was too lazy to do his own homework. If you weren't such a dick, I'd actually feel sorry for you.

How does this guy still have green?

Somebody had to have made a mistake....but this guy is bad news...all this over a cheap assed case...then all the emails he sent....

If he is anything like this in person, I wouldnt piss on him if his guts were on fire
