Love my It's George 2x4 as well, but when fully loaded, I would not call it light. Either way, it's with me until my last day!

Out of the ones you selected Swift Envelope is without a doubt the lightest. To me the best lightest protective case is 2x4 It's George.

Yea, me too... I agree not the lightest, but I love the George 2X4 I got from Ken (KCHIGHENDCUES)....

I like the Swift envelope cases, but I think he could/should do a better job with the tubes. There are only 2 tubes for the butts. No tubes for the shafts.

The two butt tubes are just loosely sitting in the case. Not fastened down or anything.

I have a soft sided case by George Aranak (sp?). I took the soft sleeves out and put in hard case tubes. It's lighter than my It's George.

I was just giving examples of any case I could think of. I really dont care who makes it as long as it's the lightest.I have an old It's George and don't really like it and my Whitten is just too darn heavy. But keep the Ideas comming I appreciate them all.

Thanks, Adam

You could always go with a Gil Castillo case. He has a lot of different styles that are lighter than anything previously mentioned.

Good luck!

Light cue cases

I think 2 of the lightest cases are the Justis Pro Lite and the It's George 2x4, but the It's George cases are no longer made so they are only available on the used market. Jack Justis builds possibly the finest case being sold today IMO.

I use a 2x4 Swift envelope case just for this reason. I switched from a 3x5 Instroke.

does ken have its george or brunswick billiards by its george. i want a eel its george

My 2x4 Ron Thomas can't weigh more than a few ounces when empty. I got the cup in the lid instead of pockets, further reducing the weight.
