Something I came across today that I thought was worth passing on.
I've had a couple of cans of this stuff left over from when I owned a motorcycle. It's called Original Bike Spirits, spray cleaner and polish.
I used it this morning on my cue, an original Martin 2005, and it worked great. My cue shines like a diamond in a goats butt. :smile:

P.S. I didn't use it on the wrap. The cue would have been so slippery it could have slipped out of my hand and put somebody's eye out.

It says don't use on cloth.
I suppose if you sprayed it on a your underwear, say, it could cause a fart to slide back up your ass, travel up your spinal column, and enter your brain where you wouldn't be able to think for shit.
Other than that, that's about all I know. :)

Now I have to get a can.
And to the poster who asked if it was safe on wood. I think the question should be is it safe on clear coat.
 
It's Spirits. Tramp probably drank the stuff and then couldn't hold onto the cue so he just thought it was slippery.

Once a Biker, always a biker. If its liquid, you put it in a glass and drink it.
If it is a solid, you put it on your tongue and use above liquid to wash it down with.
If it is green, you put it in rolling papers.

Have you warmed up yet?
I tried Turtle Wax Ice spray detailer on my cue. Great shine but it sort of stayed wet and I had to remove it.
I also used Formbys wax and build up remover. It took all the gunk off the cue and it shined real good. Then I polished it with some car polish and it looked a little duller ? So now i just use the Formbys and call it good.
The Formbys had a much better taste then the car polish or the Ice detailer.

No kidding. I sprayed some down my throat and ate an apple in one bite.
That stuff's slicker than you know what on a gold tooth. :smile:

Did I mention that I put a base coat of Cortisone Cream on my cue tip and I don't scratch any more.

It was weird Bruce. We went from serious below zero with snow to no snow and almost summer temps all in three days. Man, there are some serious sand bags around the creek by my house.

I will have to go steal some of them for my team for next year. Considering that we were in last place and won the year end league tourney a couple of weeks ago. Yep, we be baggers now.

Terry you are a sick puppy. Must be that goofy weather.
Do you know how goofy the weather is here. On a Monday a week ago it was 80 degrees and 2 days later we had 20 degrees and 8 inches of snow.
That is what a mile high altitude and living at the base of the Rockies can do.

Try Petros Guitar Polish...great stuff and it has no silicon's. Petros makes high end classical guitars that start at $14K and go up to $20+K. They use it on their own guitars so it is good stuff. A bottle will last you a very long time. I have been using it for a couple years...highly recommend it.
