Anybody have any suggestions on them? I found a few on amazon . I think Longonis. Anybody know of quality extenders for under $100?

the two extensions that most people seem to rave about are the Hager (tough to find since they stopped making them a while back) and the Tony Ryan model.

I will prob be putting up my extra hager (like new in brown) on wanted for sale section later today if you might be interested.

See what the other members suggest.

Clint,

This was more than $100. However, you never need to worry about where it is or how to carry it. Had Brandon Jacoby do the work for me. First rate job.

for the slip on/off Hagar's give the rest of them the 5 ball, the build in ones are the nuts.

I had my cue maker create a screw on extension (about 12 inches).

He hollowed it out end to end, then put in a wooden plug to hold the joint screw, and glued on a rubber bumper.

Got so I was using it for regular shots too. It only shifted the cue balance about an inch.

Screw in type

I am thinking about having Pat Diveney make one up for me. It would be about 8" long with a quick release joint and screw thru a hole in the bumper.

I love the Tony Ryan I got. I couldn't get comfortable with plastic or metal grips and this one is wood. perfect for me.

not only does the Tony Ryan extension feel right because it's made out of wood, but it's also the right diameter to feel like a true extension of what you have.

To me, the large diameter ones feel wrong.

Ariel Carmeli is going to build an extension to screw into the bottom of the Carmeli cue I keep in Vegas. Saw him at SBE in April. He can make an extension with the same wood as the butt. Not concerned with the ease of installation. Only that the extension fits tight and gives a solid feel to the entire cue. I'll let you know in s couple of weeks.

Hagar!

The Hagar is my favorite but they dont make them anymore. There's a "knock off" so to speak. The bazooka is made of the same materials. Its longer and has a rubber grip attachment as a handle.

Personally though... i have one but its so gawdy with the huge bazooka logo emblazed on it. however still a great product!

I got 12 inches for $3.50!

I made a cue extender using a 12" long tailpiece for a sink with an 1 1/2" to 1 1/4" reducer compression washer. The total cost was $3.50. The compression nut had wings on it that I cut off with a razor knife. It slips on to the cue and I have the compression nut set so it gets tight when it is just below the wrap. It is plastic so adds little weight to the cue.
