Do these things realy work ?? Do you hang just the shaft or the shaft and butt together ?? How long does the it have to hang before it will straighten a shaft out ?? ie - days, weeks, months ??

if butt not straight...........lol,
It does work to some cues ... we will never know because the wood is a living material, with different type of grain and density and moisture inside them...you have to hang them together with the butt thus gravity will pull the cue vertically...
when your cue is straight it will keep them straight taht is for sure...rather than stuffing them in cue cases...it is always better to hang your cues for long term stability....
but there is no certainty that it will straighten a bended cue and how long to hang them to repair a rolled cue...it is all depending on the wood and your luck...Just My 2 cents
A Wise saying is prevention is better than cure...
Thanks axio. I'm more looking to straighten out a slightly tapered shaft, the butt end of the cue is in perfect condition, I was just wondering if it would straighten out a slightly tapered shaft, NOT warped shaft, just slightly tapered. Thanks again for the info.
if you are pretty sure that the shaft is just slightly tapered I think that is possible...but then when the shaft it self have sanding problems then i am not sure of it...
Do you have proof that this indeed works? Predator used a robot w/ mounds of scientific data to back up their shafts when pushing a new tech product. Do you have trial proof? Do you have any concrete studies to prove the theories of your product? I'm not just busting your balls!!!!!!![]()
Give me proof and I'm all in! Sounds right in theory, but that's not enough for my money!!!!
I await your answers. Thanks
Todd
A simple piece of plastic....hmn...with machine production....costs maybe $.59 - $.89 so @ $2.50 not a bad return.....the question the other forum member presented was does this thing work & what proof....or is it a gimmick.
Seems like a fair question but mocking the price as an insignificant consideration is almost like the way Ponzi schemes are sold. If this thing works, I'd think you'd want to patent it, promote it, boast about it with documented results instead of saying "What'ya got to lose...it's only $2,50 fer cryin' out loud."......the flip side is "Come on and buy the darn thing....I can make another $1,50 and if I sell 100/week....not a bad return.
Just the flip side side to your "It's only $2.50!".

God this post just cost me more than $2.50.
My oh my......you do seem to be quite defensive about a simple question over does this thing work.....me thinks thou might protest a wee bit too much over a question another forum member earmnestly asked and in good faith as well. You come off like Bernie Madorf on the witness stand answering questions and sarcasm isn't a substitute for sincerity or even candor for that matter. Someone who has an idea that works is eager to tell others and share the information because it helps the product and grows the business opportunity. Shams, shills & conmen prefer to engage in banter and ridiculing others who have doubts or trepidation about something.....and the value of the item shouldn't matter either. Now you might indeed have a great idea or product but your behavior says just the opposite....or you're brand new at customer relations and haven't an inkling what marketing is all about.
