Cue ID needed

Owner says it's an old Joss.

The cue looks like a Helmstetter to me. It also appears to have a 5/16-18 pin which Joss never used to my knowledge. Also, the pearl dots look kinda dull which means to me that they may be Mother of Plastic not Pearl.

Thanks for all the replies. I just got word back from Danny Janes that this is indeed one of his custom cues that he made in the early 70's. Said he couldn't remember the exact year.

Did he create it as seen or was it enhanced after the fact?

It is a Joss East, I have 4 with the exact same ring work, white blocks on one, the other three just like this with wood blocks. Three are 1968 - 1972 one 73/4. They were using this ringwork in the late 60's and early 70's. I would think minimum $2500 from the looks of this, very unusual and fancy one of a kind.

It is a joss!

the block letters are very vague but there!this was a fantastic buy!
