cue reinishing special

On my way to steves shop in Galesburg right now to pick up 5 pieces of firewood that I sent him to make look like cues again :) I'll be providing pics sometime in the near future!
 
Haha! Not quite buddy. I don't drink often and new years wasn't much of an exception. Just a small bottle of korbel and that was 5 hours before I left. The tournament at rudys in aurora ran super late and I was afraid that if I went home I wouldn't want to make the drive (180 miles) tomorrow. So I decided to do it now. Crazy what some guys will do to get wood huh?!!! :D

John, I urge you to give him a call and talk to him if you have any work that needs to be done. The quality of work is top notch and his turnaround time is a week! I'll be posting a full review of the work he's done for me within the next couple of days.
 
I have a nice C-18 Mcdermott I'd like refinished. Original butt-cap was replaced years ago by a local. It was well done, but want period correct cap/rubber bumper. Thought maybe you or a member here might have a parts cue for sale not needed to install to mine?
You are only 50 miles from me (I'm in Peoria) so i could drop it off for a re-do...Also would like a shaft made...can ya match the rings? Thought I'd try here before sending to Mcdermott?

Steve stands behind his work 100% guys! I saw some of his works in progress and I'll say this, I don't know that anybody out there is set up to do the variety of work this guy is providing. insane complex butterfly designs, short splice, cnc work, you name it. Run it by him, he's no one trick pony is all I'm sayin.
