Not that i'm aware of. Almost impossible to keep up with tips. You really just need to try them out and make your own chart. Some co's hard are another co's med, etc. I'm a fan of Ultraskins and Thoroughbred's. Consistent, quality tips at fair prices. The only cue tip hardness charts I can find a very old and they don't include dozens of the newer cue tips on the market these days. Is there a recent one out there somewhere.

I couldn't agree more about Ultraskins. The ones I've used have required very little maintenance and somehow seem to stay rough. I haven't tried Thoroughbreds yet, which is pretty sad considering I've known Kelly for quite a long time. I'll hit him up for a couple next time I need tips as I've heard nothing but good things about them. Not that i'm aware of. Almost impossible to keep up with tips. I really like the Ultraskins, and I like the the SIB's, too. Good quality tips. I've been using the soft tips, but I'm a low maintenance kind of guy, so I think I'm going to try the medium, or even hard tips, next. Not that i'm aware of. Almost impossible to keep up with tips. I got a drop down with the choice of Japanese or English when the page first opened. Is there an English version?
Oh. I didn’t see one so I improvised. I still don’t after viewing the page again.I got a drop down with the choice of Japanese or English when the page first opened.
Comes out as a Google translate box. Must be a feature of Chrome.Oh. I didn’t see one so I improvised. I still don’t after viewing the page again.
An even quicker way when using the chrome browser on a PC is to open whatever page you want to translate and then on an empty spot on the page do a right click and then from the menu that pops up left click on "Translate to English" and it will instantly do so.Tip Hardness (English)
I copy and pasted the site into Google's Translate page (Webpage), FYI moving forward.
Navigation isn't that easy still.
most use Shore 'A'. If using using 'D' you will get a lower #. Shore A is meant for softer/pliable materials where D is meant for harder stuff. Take a Triangle as an example, A rating is around 80 where D is 74. Depends on what scale u use.Is there a preferred or standardized method for measuring tip hardness?
It seems to be all over the place between sources. Even in the above, Moori (M) as an example is 72 in the first chart and 75.5 in the other. Ultraskin has ratings on their website, so what chart do I compare those to?
