Here is a set Brain71 ordered in March , after 3 PMs telling him they are ready , no responce of any kind .

Now they are for sale to anyone that can use them .

Tulipwood with Cocobolo top . 3/8 x 11 brass pins . .850 at base but I will cut down to match your cue .

$ 55.00 shipped . Thanks Jim AFTER ALMOST 48 DAYS , WITH REPEATED pm's , I was informed today 5-18-11 , " SO SORRY I SOLD THE CUE "

If he ordered the caps you shouldn't be forced to sell them, they are his to forward to the new owner! All Brian has to do is pay you! You do great work ,sorry you have to deal with people like this! Ron
 
Sorry to say this , but not the 1st time . One guy orderd j/ps and listed cue for sale , same day . Custom j/ps are built to a certain guy, can't always find someone that has a matching cue . Thanks Jim

You've always taken care of me and made me a bunch of great J/P's. Although I'm sure you'd rather go by a person's word... you may just have to start taking deposits!

Hope it works out quickly. You're too nice of a guy to get stuck on orders.

i also had a bad story with him in the past. He try to sell me a GTF case and already agree with the escrow service ( Fast and Loose). After i contact fast and loose, he back up from the deal. Damn, i feel very guilty to marcus.
 
I never ordered these joint protectors. I contacted Mr. Baxter about a quote on a price for these and then he proceeds to go ahead and make them without asking if I even wanted them. I've never had a problem with Jim but all of a sudden I'm getting blasted. Jim if you look back I was one of the guys who donated a pair of joint protectors I had to help with your hospital bills with a situation you had going on at the time. This sounds like some confusion. Maybe there was some miscommunication between you guys in PM's? Pretty straight up of you to raise some money for Jim at point. Must have been forgotten about. Jim?

It is miscommunication. I don't remember receiving any PMs from him concerning these until now. I'm not calling him a liar, I just don't have anything in my message box from Jim. I stated to him that I didn't order these JPs that in fact I was just wondering what the cost would be. I didn't know that he was going to go ahead and make them. He then in turn leaves me negative Itrader and prints my name saying I'm a deadbeat in so many words. Again, I apologoze for the mix up Jim but why blast me like this? That's all I have to say about this. I guess I'll have to be more explicit in the future.
 
Tell you what. Whoever buys them I'll pay for half. None of this is my fault but I'll step and show what kind of heart I have.

And, you have to respond Jim last post. you ask somebody to give you a paypal address and you deny that it's not about order some stuff. well you are a liar man.

I do not want to have to take deposites , but this is not a first . It is a 1st that he denies he ordered , I have had guys come on hard times , and I excuse this, in to days world , things are tough . The one before this was, O I'm so sorry , I spent to much at a auction friday night now I have 4.35 cents till next payday . Give me a break. 99.999 % of AZers are standup Great guys, but we are being invaded .
 
Hopefully it was worked out, I can't speak for this transaction or anything involving it. But I've done business with brain71 before and have found him to be a very upfront and honest person to deal with. So from my experiences with him I'd have to assume this was some form of miscommunication. Hate to hear about it, wish I had a cue to fit them.
