Why all the black?

Having gone to many WPBA tournaments over the year as a photographer, I always had a problem with all the black shirts. Cameras do not really like black (or white). They like the colors of the spectrum like blue and red and yellow and brown and such. So I have always wondered why all the ladies wear so much black? At some tourneys you would think they all dress out of the same closet. Is there a reason for the black attire?

Do not take this as a complaint. It is not. The WPBA has always treated me very well and gone out of their way to make sure I got the info that I needed. I'm just curious.

I think Melissa Herndon was crouching down behind us doing that. Debbie was just too tall for her to reach!

I have to agree with Monica, this tournament is fun. I'm not sure why we all hang out and have fun so much. Maybe it's because there is nothing to do there. A lot of people didn't even leave the Casino for the duration of the tournament. It was definitely a ton of fun.

I just thought 105 degree heat in Columbia, SC was hot. Angelina Paglia is alot hotter than that. And she's finally growing up where she looks like a woman now instead of a little girl........

I agree and she not only looks sharp, but she has a great personality. She's very friendly and fun to talk to....

Does Rachel still play on the tour? She wasn't in Charlotte and I didn't see her name on the bracket for the GLC. What ever happened to her Inside Pool gig? She was doing a bunch of reporting, but it seems like she was replaced by Vanessa de la Cuetarrrrra.

Don had us doin "grease" dances on the dance floor and every one had so much fun. If anyone hasn't been to one of our tournys. and wants to go that is the one to go to (or one of them anyways:wink: ).

Most of us realize your eyes are not really demon red in real life. You still look very attractive.

If you look at most of the photos, especially the group photos, most of them are not wearing black. Of course, Jeanette always will, but I think most gals will wear some color around their faces. Black pants are a staple because they go with everything, and then you only need to pack a couple pair of those and a few tops and you are good to go, IMHO.

I've never had a problem photographing black apparel... in fact, I often prefer it. It's white that seems to glow and drives me crazy!
