Cyrex please contact me regarding your refund!!!!

And are you replacing the saw?

Mario

No Mario. You got a 150$ refund for a 200$ saw. You chose to return part of a saw to ups for a refund not me. Our transaction has been complete.

The fact that you are claiming a 250-300$ loss on our deal even AFTER your refund is absurd.

Also for the record. The package was fully insured as is every package I ship. However when you told ups you open the package and took it apart and kept half. For that they found you only deserve 150$. I don't know how they came to this number but you took all our power away when you tampered with the package.

You chose the ups refund route even before talking to me so that's the results you are stuck with. Please don't talk to me or even post in my threads again. I owe you nothing. Our deal has be competed months ago

Thank you

Dave it is good to see you are refunding some their money, a year late is better than never I guess!

Thank you Ron for you complement. Although back handed I appreciate it. It's actually about 6 months but who's counting. I promised a refund upon completion and sale of the cue. That Is always my policy. Some cuemakers have a non refundable deposit policy on canceled orders. I don't think it's right and I'm not looking for anything extra. Only the payment due for they cue I was commissioned to build.
Let's face it. I am not southwest. I don't have a list of dealers to call when a customer stiffs me on a cue.

I think you will find more cuemakers ask for a deposit then not. For instance it's to my understanding that after you wait 11 years Laurie will contact you saying your cue is ready to be built. At that time half the cost is due to start and the other half do on completion of the cue. Same with Pete tasc. 500$ deposit due to get on the list. Let's face it. Cuemakers get stiffed day in and day out on cues ordered. To some that's valuable time spend without payment that could be spent on another paying customer. When customers don't pay you don't see us starting thread warning other cuemakers about a specific customer not paying. I'm sure it happens many times across the country daily. Kinda u fair one way and not the other.

Reguardless. It is my policy to refund deposit less difference. Example. a cue order with a price tag of 500$. Deposit of 100$ paid. Customer can not pay. Cue is completed and sold for 450$. Maybe cue takes me 6 months or more to resell.

So 500$. -450$=50$ difference

100$ deposit - 50$ difference = 50$ refund.

That is my policy. It will never change. If you disagree with my policies then unfortunately I am not the cuemaker for you.

I'm not sure who posted about me changing my policy about deposit but hopefully it helps you understand why deposits are taken. Honestly my policy will never change.

Dave,
Didn't mean for it to be backhanded and to look back through your posts it was over a year but like you say who's counting! As for a deposit if you back out on something you ordered you lose your deposit! If it takes 6 months to sell it the deposit covers your intrest. I am glad to see your doing the right thing and refunding the money. I have ordered several cues from the top cue makers and yet to pay a deposit or back out on something I ordered. I think it has to do with your reputation! Ron

I would like to buy a new cue from Dave Sutton

Here is my policy: I order a 4 point 4 veneer cue from you with windows on the butt sleeve and 2 shafts for $1,500. You promise me the cue will be hand delivered to my door by you in 6 months. You send me a $1,500 deposit before you start the work.

Example, Dave does not deliver on time. I order the same cue from a reputable cue maker. Cue is completed and I have to pay the reputable cue maker $1,750. Dave owes me $250. Maybe cue takes me 6 monthe to reorder from the reputable cue maker.

So 1,500$. -1,750 = -250 difference

1,500$ deposit + 250$ difference = 250$ refund to me for you not delivering.

That is and will always be my policy!

I AM LOST? you order a cue and the cuemaker sends you $1500 deposit before he starts the work? I have ordered a few, but I must have done it wrong. I didn't get a deposit from the cuemaker or send him one, he made the cue and said it is ready it will be $4650 with express shipping... I send him $4650 and the next day I am opening a triangle shaped box!
Are you a Dealer ordering for someone else? He sends a Deposit for a Sutton Cue . It is late so you get him a Tascarella and Dave owes you the difference? I'm missing something...

I am not worried. I am not here to argue. I am here to do the right thing and refund Rex. Bottom line. Trust me I am busier then I want to be. I have hundreds of flawless deals before this and will have hundreds of flawless deals after. If you don't want a cue. Don't place an order. I'm ok with it.

Trust me I have just as much support as haters. A few have even pm'd me asking if I wanted them to speak out in my behalf. I said no leave it alone.

One day Barry Dennis and a few others that have been doing it for 30+ years will be gone. And left will me guys like me and Leon sly and a few others you guys drag thru the mud bc we haven't been doing it 30 years. I know I will remember when your calling me.

Laughable at best. Hardly deserving of a response.

Hmmm Response

You seem to have a nack for not resonding. Like the time you promised to sell me a cue and then backed out to sell it to someone else on AZ (Who never got it). Perhaps this will refresh your memory. Read posts 11-14 on your thread selling the Szamboti like J/B cue. Luckily I never sent the money!!!

I thought I made this clear when it happened. As you were negotiating back and forth with me another azer simply called and said. I'll take it and paid me. Then when you finally said I will take it I told you the cue was already sold. He contact me first and got first option on the cue.

Blah Blah Woof Woof

Painfully with much consideration (NOT) I have just put you on my Ignore List so I won't have to listen to your excuses.

It was a reverse spin on the thread originators policy. Moreover using Tascarella in the same sentence as the thread originator should get you banned for life!!!

I understood your post. And why not compare Dave to Tasc, Dave threw himself in with the same class as Szam and Searing. When they are done, we will all be knocking on Dave's door, and he'll have the last laugh. Myself, 30 years from now when those guys are gone, I'll be looking for Eddie Wheat (with some Wheat bucks in hand).
