Okay, it looks like we've got some interest! 
I'd like to try this at Diamonds in Dallas sometime within the next two months. Let me see what's going on and when a good time might be to try to hold this event. Hopefully Donovan will get back from hustling on the road and chime in a bit...

I'm still here, but I have been working on some things (lost 60 pounds so far) and just have not had the time to post much. I am spending all my spare time in the gym.
I think this would be a great idea and that is a great place to do it. Does anyone know if they have specials on the weekends? I was there a couple of weeks ago and watched Billy Incardona and Cliff Joyner. IT was a real treat to be seeing all of that. Cliff had one guy so frazzled, he bummed a cigarette and forgot to he needed it lit. Anyway, it was a great time and a great place. I will certainly make the drive over there again.
Anyway, I do not have the time to host this one, but would be glad to show up....anyone want to take the lead on this I think it would be great.
Now after writing that I went ahead and called them up. Here is the scoop.
1pm-7pm is $7 or All Day for $20
They have a big 9-Ball Tournament on Sept 22nd, so that day is out for sure, but they said any other time would be great. We need to give people enough time to plan for it too, so how about OCT 20th? If we decide to so some trophies again, I can probably get that done too. I'll let you guys figure out the details and I will be glad to setup what needs to be done....OK so scratch the, I don't have time to host thing. LOL

There is a Fast Eddie's tournament Oct. 20-21 in Waco which this would intersect with. Oct. 27 has a tournament at Diamonds... Oct. 13-14 also has a Fast Eddie's tournament in Lafayette, LA...
I kind of think Oct. 13-14 might be a better date since maybe not that many people would be going to Lafayette, LA.

I had the honour of partnering Samiel in a Scotch doubles tourney last night & we talked about this a bit. I hope we can find a date that suits everyone, the more the merrier!
