I heard it a bit differently. "Because he's got a short ______." Then there was a long awkward silence. Hopefully I just misheard him.
A short what? At least hint at what you heard him say. I wasn't watching but Danny D is my favorite commentator and whatever he said I'm sure it's hilarious.
A short cock. Pretty sure he was making a joke out of the stereotype of the endowment of Asian men. I'm almost positive it's what he said, but it shocked me enough to make me question if I heard it right. Completely inappropriate, but hilarious in the "I can't believe he just said that" sense.
Who are you telling to lighten up fatass? I was just saying I was shocked to hear it coming from a commentator and that I found it pretty funny. If it was said between friends I woudn't bat an eye, but didn't expect to hear something like that in commentary. The awkward silence after the joke (no reaction from the co-commentator) shows I wasn't the only one surprised to to hear him say it. I don't have a problem with it. Mind yourself.

You know how Alex is. Wouldn't put much past him. If he has heard about this, maybe the next time he is playing and Danny is in the booth, Alex will pull it out and lay it on the rail and say, "have a look Danny".

It's none of my business really,but there might be some truth to what Danny said IF he said it that way.

I have no idea what Asian men use. When I play here I only pay attention to my own equipment, sometimes it's 57, sometimes 58 and sometimes 60 inches.
I can tell you tho, I got a cheap cue off EBay, had to do a bit of work to it and ended up being 57". One of the best cues that I have ever played with and a great bar table cue.
The joint collar was way too long by a country mile. Changed out to a 3/8ths x 10 flat face
so lost all of the collar. An 8th of an inch pilot on the insert and an inch of dead air space on the collar wasn't necessary.
