Yes, The Man, the Myth and the Legion Hits the Road Again! Danny Di Liberto will be coming through the Western North Carolina (Hendersonville/Asheville, NC) area next Monday, July14th.

My good friend, Diana Hoppe, asked me to post this to let everyone know that Danny will be driving from Charleston, SC to Asheville, NC, (along Interstate-26) on his way to Chicago, and will be giving lessons for anyone interested along his route! A friend and I will be taking some lessons from him at Cue and Spirits (Arden, NC-Near Asheville), and Diana and Danny will be eating at my restaurant, La Riserva Ristorante and Wine Bar, 342 North Main Street, Hendersonville, NC, 828-692-6636, www.lariservaristorante.com, to eat "Italian Style" and enjoy Danny's company and some "Stories From the Road". Everyone is welcome! Danny will be in town several days; please contact him directly to schedule pool time with him; his cell number is: 954-483-0389.

I'd love to see some AZer's there to support such a historical player!!!

Danny is very knowledgable and an all around good time.

To all in the area, I recommend getting any time you can with a world champion and Danny has seen it all.
 
This is great Davie! I love Danny and he is one of the last road guys left. Just dont let him into the kitchen cause he will be doing all the cooking. A great warrior and a wonderful man.

Can you tell me when Danny will be in Charleston, SC and if he's doing anything in this area? This is the first i've heard of this. I'd love to see Danny and I wouldn't mind getting some tips from a legend of the game.

Great news. No doubt, Danny is probably gearing up to play in Grady's senior tournament which is coming up next week or two, I think.

Grady's pool room is in Lexington, South Carolina. The phone number for Grady's is 803-957-7665, and his Senior?s Championship goes like this:

Entry Fee: $250. Payout: $18,000 based on 70 players.

Dates: July 18, 19, & 20th. Big tables, Race to 11, double elimination.

So Fast Davie, inquiring minds wanna know. Did Danny enjoy some of your Italian delicacies? What did he eat? I can't wait until I get down your way. I have heard great things from those who have visited you, and you can be sure that you are on my list of places to visit! :grin:

If any of you get the chance to take a lesson from Danny you will get much more than your money's worth. Make sure you get him to show you how he reads a rack in 14.1. It is unreal the things he can see in the pack.
 
Danny in Chicago

I just spoke with him and he expects to arrive in the Chicago area around July 25-28. I am trying to help coordinate him giving lessons in the area so he can maybe just go to one venue and have the students booked one after the other.

If you have any interest, contact me by pm, or email (gwtlaw@aol.com). I have one guy that might want him for 8 hours on Friday the 25th. I was hoping to have some others scheduled for the 26th and the 27th. I might try to schedule them at Red Shoes if the remodeling is done by then, but not sure yet.
