Friday was Danny Diliberto's birthday. I didn't see any note of it. I think he is like 75.

I just got off the phone with Danny. He's doing fine and wanted me to thank everyone for him. He'll be in Indianapolis and Cincinnati soon if anyone is interested in some lessons. If so, you can email me at sherm@shermcue.com with Danny D in the subject line and I'll help you set it up.
 
Evidently nobody checked the birthday list because Danny D stands right next to Jay and Blackjack when it comes to popularity on azb. Nobody gets more azb respect.

He gave Julius Caesar the 7, Moses got the last 3 and neither one could win. He got hijacked when trying to give Nostradamus the call 8 and the break back in the late 1520's. He also bet the Pope he could paint the Sistine Chapel with a Q-Tip.

I remember that match, I have the VHS tape of it, or was it on BetaMax???? Great matches for sure.

Danny is a great ledgend in pool, I have know him as a aquatiance since about 1990, I like his commentary. He came to me with a business deal once-I couldnt do it at the time, looking back I wish I would have we both would have done very good with it. It was right when I closed up my biz and I went into survival mode and couldnt take the risk, looking back there was zero risk, I made a bad decision not to do the deal with him.

Danny is not only double-smart,he is triple-tough.
Sugar Ray Robinson admired his right hand.Being in Angelo Dundee's
stable is a position not easily earned.

We need to see Danny in the HOF.He has the credentials as a player,
teacher and commentator.Buffalo has inducted him into their Sports
Hall of Fame so he knows the drill,he can do the acceptance speech
and the interviews.

DANNY DILIBERTO FOR THE BCA HALL OF FAME !!!!!!

mind you i might be influenced by the fact that he is my friend....
