So i guess he is really preparing for his challenge match in TAR PIT.

Right now the Euro Tour is probably the toughest test of pool in the world with the exception of the world championships itself. I had no doubt Daz would pick up his first win eventually (final a few years back and a few last 8's) but doing it in Italy the way he did really shows what a class act he is.

After reaching the last 32 knockout stage (no mean feat in iteself) in the next 5 consecutive matches he had to dispense with 5 previous winners all of whom are proven world class players i.e. Tony Drago, Oliver Ortmann, Imran Majid, Mark Gray and Bruno Muratore.

Congrats to Darren for winning the event. I hear all the girls think he's hot, but hey, they're only human. Right, Darren? :D
 
congrats. no surprise though. 1st time he played a ET, he finished 2nd. impressing everyone with his methodical, knowledgable play. then some more at IPT. wait till he gets some one-pocket experience under his belt...
