£10,000 Scotch Doubles Match Exclusively live on American Pool TV

On Saturday 15th August American Pool TV will be providing live pay-per-view coverage of the hottest money match in the UK this year.

£10,000 is at stake as four of Britains best pool players with multiple International titles go head-to-head.

Karl Boyes, world bronze medallist, is partnering twice WEPF World 8-ball Champion, Chris Melling, as they take on World Number 1 and World 10 Ball Champion Darren Appleton and his partner, Nations Cup winner, Imran Majid.

The action will be live from 5pm (GMT) with an undercard match between Scott Higgins and Alan Millership, a nice warm-up for the main event (7.30pm GMT)

To watch this match you have two options, buy a PPV ticket in advance for just £4.99 or purchase on the day of the match for £7.49

PPV tickets go on sale on Saturday 8th August so do not miss out.

The main event is played to WPA Ten Ball rules and will be a race-to-35 racks. Expect some awesome shot making, an intense atmosphere and a very tense and thrilling result.

I couldn't find it in your text, but I believe that Karl and Chris is getting 5 games on the wire in this race. Will be a great match to watch

Sounds like fun. Imran Majid certainly caught my eye when he beat Thorsten Hohmann and Corey Deuel back-to-back in the single elimination portion of the Predator 10-ball Classic in Las Vegas this May.
 
i personally think its an awesome match up. not any player should be underestimated.
 
This is not available on traditional television, correct? You can get the pay per view feed to your INTERNET CONNECTED computer system and then you can show it on your big screen TV if you have the connecting cable (this is the only way you will see it on your television, correct).

BTW, the resolution of the matches that you can watch for free from that website are VERY HIGH quality and look good on my Big Screen TV.... FWIW.

Thats Correct

the feed is of very high quality from Cuesport TV as we use a dedicated line for the streaming. linking it to a big tv sounds a great idea, never tried it but will do. Thanks

Karl came through Waco one day and we got him in a 3 ball game with about 5 people. He got so many 3's it was sick. He made 3 many times without making one on the break! :shocked:

hi chris u should take a trip over the pond my friend theres lot of £ & $ here for you or any other american that fancy it

i could bet up $100k if the right game

and am pretty sure karl can get staked upto 50k chris if u wanted the game in uk..

am sure little weight could be arranged for you pal plus the main venue in uk for money games will soon have diamond tables too! :-)

just a offer be good to get some americans over here the likes of you,shane,hatch,duele,morris, etc etc

yes things looking up in uk about time

and we finally got a really good venue and its in middle country too which is perfect

be great to see some americans and asians come over to play

main games we play 8ball ,9ball,10ball,

there is lot of money waiting if players want to try and win it and like i said would be taken care of really good!
