Darren is a great person and is doing a world of good for pool through his YouTube channel. His demeanor will change for the better, I assure you. This tends to make a person appreciate life and the time they have left. Every day is a gift.
Do them here. Thread title works great and hopefully uplifting for everyone. CheersI have a couple good Darren story’s, like Stu posted here. Should I post them in this thread. Happy times! They aren’t long but they certainly will be good thoughts.
As long as they are tasteful and uplifting, why not? If they, in any way, paint a negative picture of him, his actions, or anyone in his life, it's probably best avoided.I have a couple good Darren story’s, like Stu posted here. I was at that dinnerAs long as they are tasteful and uplifting, why not? If they, in any way, paint a negative picture of him, his actions, or anyone in his life, it's probably best avoided.
I doubt anyone will ever top the stories Chris Melling offered when he introduced Darren at the 2017 BCA Hall of Fame dinner, but you can try.

Mary Kenniston is, as a rule, a very reliable source. Not sure of the accuracy of this, but Mary Kenniston posted on FB that Darren was clinically"dead" for 20 minutes before he was resuscitated/induced into a coma. That sounds very bad for his long-term prognosis.
Damn... that doesn't bode well then.... blood oxygen levels...Mary Kenniston is, as a rule, a very reliable source.
I'm glad you did.Fxxx YOU BITCH! IM GOING TO MAKE IT!!
Sarcasm? Or sincerity? Hard to tell.I'm glad you did.
I was deployed to Haiti in 1995-96. U.S. Army. At the hospital they brought a guy in on a gurney who was still conscious but in super bad shape. Doctor looked at him and told the nurses that there was nothing they could do for him and he was going to die. They pushed his gurney in between some other gurney's that had stiffs on them and walked away.Sarcasm? Or sincerity? Hard to tell.
But that's exactly what I was thinking at the time. I hold no malice toward the medical staff. They did save my life.
But that was a hell of a thing to hear while you are laying in an emergency room dying.
My God! That is terrible.I was deployed to Haiti in 1995-96. U.S. Army. At the hospital they brought a guy in on a gurney who was still conscious but in super bad shape.
