David G and Chris Bartrum doe $10000

lol, Unless Chris is starting a job in a law firm and making $500/hr. I don't see him getting up for a standard low paying job after playing for $10,000 the day before on a set of pool.

That was my thought too, but he made the stipulation and David repected it. Maybe he found something he really likes. I hope so.

I understand what you state, but don't underestimate Davids heart. He's not a kid anymore and been up and down the pike. I don't think the number is going to come ito play for him.

David is a good friend of mine and I'll be in his corner, but believe me, he knows he is gearing up for a dog fight. Everyone around here has met Chris and I have never heard a negative word about him. A real nice guy and huge heart. As I said earlier, I haven't seen one of these in a while and look forward to it. It should be intresting.

Jay,
Would you like a small sweat on this match if it goes off? I like Chris playing the ahead set.

I might be intrested. Let me know wht you had in mind and how you would like to do it. I'll be back around this evening.

Hey guys, I've never seen either one of these guys play. I've heard... but not seen them play. How would they match up with say.. BJ Ussery, Tony Watson, Mike Fuller, Jeff Abernathy? Any input?

I would have to put David as a slight favorite over Chris. I think that Bruce B. would play Chris even and I'm not sure he would play David G. even. That being said, Tony would play either even and have a slight edge. BJ would be a slight underdog and Jeff Abernathy would need some weight.

I think a small step above, both.

This is a higher speed. Only Watson is close.

I just talked to Chris and he wanted me to relay the message that if anyone is going to be there watching or knows someone that would like to bet against him he will be taking all bets.

Sarah

I'm more interested in getting a bet in on HIS side. That guy is a beast.

Wish I could get over there to watch this. I've watched David play a couple of times in a weekly tourney in Euless. He has to be one of the most intense looking players I've ever seen.

I hope someone will keep us all posted on how this goes!

We will try. I'll stay in touch with Sones by phone and he will post updates unless he is mowing the yard.

Despite what some think, this is going to be a dog fight. These two have a lot in comon. There won't be much or any BS here, just real hard play.

I second that. Window is open here and I'll take Chris.

I assume everything is still scheduled to go down as planned. I like David G with a slight edge. Ive only seen Chris play once and I was impressed but I must go with the hometown favorite. I dont have alot of cash but Im willing to put up ALL of my VCash:D :D

I'll be leaving my house in a few minutes to watch this. It should be one hell of a match.
