Here are some more detailed pictures of some of the new Davis-Prince collaboration cues we have been working on. The first cue is an amboyna burl full spliced cue with all ivory inlays, ivory joints, ferrules, and Hoppe ring.
The 2nd one is a thuya burl full splice cue with all ivory inlays, joints, ferrules and hoppe ring. Both of these cues utilize our dual trim ring butt joints. The shafts have no trim rings, they are just maple with an phenolic insert, but when screwed onto the butt look like they have their own set of trim rings.
Thanks for looking..

Thanks for the compliments on the cues. Here are pictures of two more. The first is another amboyna burl full splice, but all the white is elforyn instead of ivory. The 2nd is another thuya burl full splice, again, elforyn inlays, joints, and hoppe ring.

i've been following your cues since i learnt about them from those pre wccs threads...man i'm liking them more and more..they look really expensive...did i mention they look beautiful too? ;)

I really like that Amboyna and Ebony full slice. That is really sweet.

Is the amboyna stabilized in some fashion? Or, can you core a piece of amboyna and still make a full splice? (I hope I didn't just sound stupid.)

These cues are not stabilized, but they are cored. Thanks for the complimets on the joints. This is something new we are trying. It makes it easier for a customer to put on an after market shaft without having to send the cue back to have the trim rings matched. Its also nice if anything ever happens to the shaft, it can be replaced without sending the butt back to line up the trim rings (perfect allignment of the trim rings no matter what). This is to be sort of a signature feature of the Davis-Prince cues that we are making. We have gotten alot of good feedback about them. Thanks

Great work Tim, I couldn't make the Windy City Show. Would have like to see these babies in person.

Awesome stuff, Tim. I want that thuya burl one - absolutely gorgeous. The best thing about Tim's cues are they play fantastic, too. I know - my playing cue is a Prince, and my break cue is a Davis blank Prince conversion. Keep up the great work, Tim and John.
