DCC 2015 weather?

That's certainly not true every year. I have been to the DCC in shorts before. Weather near Louisville is a roll of the dice that time of year. The average high for Feb is 48ºF and average low is 30ºF.

What you said Worm...

I've gone to the DCC for the last 14 years - during that span of time there were two DCC's where the temperature was in the 60's - I can remember a couple of us eating sandwiches outside, enjoying the weather..and also, on one of those 64 degree days, I have a fond memory of taking my old pal (RIP) Freddy 'the Beard's' pups for a nice long walk...

As for the other 12 years..there were about three years with very bad weather - 2 serious snow storms and 1 ice storm....the remaining 9 years, for the most part, were geographically-average - in the 40's sometimes drizzly, sometimes clear.

Indiana weather is notoriously hard to predict. That being said expect it to be cold. Whether it will snow or not is a total crapshoot, but the ice storm of several years ago was the absolute worst case scenario and even then driving there wasn't that bad. But really the bottom line is you should go no matter what.

I'm considering going to the DCC in January but a friend of mine mentioned that the weather in Elizabeth, IN is terribly that time of year. Snowy, windy and freezing. Can anyone confirm this?

I've been to the last six DCC events ..... and I can't confirm this because I practically never leave the hotel. But it's January in Indiana and it sure is cold. To my recollection, flurries aside, it snowed like hell just one year in the last six.

Unless you are concerned about the drive to get there, weather shouldn't scare you away if you're serious about pool.
