DCC 9 ball updates

DO breaks hard abandoning the softy. Ball down with a full ball hit on the one but only bank possibility. DO attempts a cut shot and misses. He had a free roll because the 2 ball is tied up behind the 3-9 cluster on the long rail.

SVB pockets the 1 while jacked up over a cluster. He then uses the 2 ball to dislodge the 3 ball and goes safe.

DO kicks and leaves a perfect shot on the 2. Bad position to the 3 ball by Shane, but he made it and should be out.

Orcollo coming off the bye maybe will be a bit anxious? He wants to head into the big money match vs Shane with a victory.

I know shane has beat him alot lately but to say their is still a drought is not true.Orcollo actually just won their last match just 2 days ago. Dennis knocked Shane out of the 1P.

But not in rotation, Dennis lost their last 5 matches (According to Mark Wilson) . Winning this will be psy boost for Dennis

Shane makes the 5 ball and CB on the break. Table sits wide open for Dennis. BIH

DO gets funky on the 3 and 4 balls while trying to avoid a 7 - 8 combo by going short rail position.

5-5 All tied up
 
Wing ball, 1 ball and CB goes down.

BIH to Shane. Wide open table.

Shane's play is a tad bit sloppy but he gets out anyway.

6-5 Shane
 
The snap from the right hand side of the box. Wing goes but the only cluster on this constellation layout is the 3-5 balls. Shane plays safe...sells out.

DO shoots the behind the back billard to the 3 ball hanging in the corner. He has to jack up over the 4 to shoot the 1 ball. It goes and DO is off to the races.

6-6 All tied
 
Shane's body language is speaking volumes.

2 balls down and a cut on the 1 ball available. Tight work to be done up table. 1 ball and 2 balls goes down. 3 ball gets kicked leaving a short tester cut shot. DO manuevers well.

7-6 Dennis
 
DO breaks hard, a ball goes down. All remaining OB's are up table within three diamonds of the head rail. Tight work ahead.

DO kicks at the 1 ball and rattles it. Shane makes a good shot and starts his surgery work on this table.

Nice work, patient survives.

7-7 All tied
 
Wing ball goes and a cut shot down the short rail on the 1 ball. Tough position to the 2 ball.CB travels 2 table lengths for good position on the 2.

8-7 Shane on the hizzle
 
Big break, 2 balls down including the 1 ball. Nice shot on the 2 ball. This is an easy layout.

Shane leaves a drama shot with the bridge on the 8 ball. He makes it but leaves a long test cut on the 9 ball.

Fists in the air for an emotional victory.

Nice match Shane. Alex awaits for the championships.
 
Fist pump emotion by Shane. This was a grudge match and a lot more at stake than just third place. Take that Team French. :grin:
