DCC 9-ball updates

Forfeited with 7 balls on the table. I've been dumped lol
Jason
That's kind of funny. But at least Kenny lectured him telling him that people came to see them play. I guess he's still a hot-head.

EDIT: With winner break, he really thinks that he couldn't run 6 racks in a row. He shouldn't buy back in then.

What's goofy is rack your own. The nine SHOULD count on the break in any pocket.

Rack your own is ruining our sport.

Winner break, loser racks keeps the fox outta the hen house.

Loser racks moves the event along much quicker.

When your racking, it's good time for the player who sold out, to think about what transpired last game, how the balls broke and what to do differently the next time they rack.

In turn, your opponent rolls down the balls from the upper four pockets, while your doing your thing, it's a good use of time for both players before the next rack is broken. Also, it's time well spent for the breaker to think about his last inning and get his break stick ready and such.

Racking anywhere on the paper is legal (it doesn't have to be Exactly in the middle of the spot). For the racker to have some say in that aspect of play is important, as it's their job to not allow the breaker to totally control the game. It's their job to stop the bleeding and get back to the table.

The reasoning behind letting the winner rack was, to stop the Whining about your opponents racking issues, as TD's despise babysitting adults over ''fair play''. Also, in these petty/whining/me me matches the TD would then step in and rack the rest of the match, well what happens if another table has the same issues/tissues going on.
That's how this whole mess started, plus cheaters are never going to stop. TD should just tell the rack/mechanic. If I catch ya doing this one more time, I'll take a game off your score, or something that will stop this Shit.

They should make Shaw lose a game on his next match.

Concession: You must not concede the 9-Ball. The penalty is loss of game PLUS one additional game. Unscrewing your playing cue while your opponent is at the table is loss of match.

Looks like all the talk about Shaw being one of the world's top players was premature.

Being the best is more than about having great technique.

AND Woodward shoots an ACCUSTATS .938.....
....the Sky's the limit.

Shaw didn't have to dog it or give up....Sky shot great.

He is one of the World's top players. Being great at something is not a free pass to not being a a hot head however. Been a couple of them that i can recall.

Speaking of Earl.....was he a no show..?

I thought he was there, but don't see him on the bracket for 9b

He's certainly one of the world's top cueists. But if you give up on winnable matches then you are not one of the world's top players. Being a professional athlete is about winning and giving up is anathema to winning.

So it's between Alex and Billy for MOT.

Alex got knocked out of banks in 4th round. Billy had a maybe 5-6th finish in banks. Dennis maybe a top 12-15th finish.

Banks Billy, Alex, Dennis.

If Billy wins 2 more rounds, he might be a lock for MOT.
