Deano Cue

Hello az,I hope you missed me.

First let me thank those of you who ordered cues before the Jan.15 deadline.I also want to thank those of you who have offered support and encouragement to me apologizing forthe slanderous remaks made about or to me.
It all amouts to this, none of my detractors has met or knows anything about me or the cue.
I didn't realize it was the standard operating policy of az for people to intentionally knock a seller, especially without a single example of wrond doing.
I never heard of Joey before he began to make the comments against me.I didn't even know he made cues.I asked him to call me on a private PM so we could talk resonably, but he declined my offer.

Other than the remarks he made on the forum,I know nothing about him.Now I understand he makes cues.It is my policy to never criticize a cue maker in public.I have many friends in the business and it is hard to make a living, they deserve praise when it is due.My comments involved him continuing to harass me with no good reason.

On the other hand many of you have spoken harsh words concerning my detractorsThis is not necessary I don't need to be defended for anything, and I urge my friends or customers to refrain from these remarks.Harming others can'tpossibly help me.

My cues(protypes are sold out,we will accept no new orders)We are not looking to sell any more,so please do not call .Several cues have been shipped,2 were recieved and photographed. Both customers are happy.3 more were shipped this week and I look forward to their response.
Why are so many people angry?

If the customers are happy, why are those who have never seen one so unhappy? I have not mentioned a single cuemaker and said that my cue is better than theirs.I did offer to put mine to a public comparison with 2 of the reputed best hitting cues.I never saw or hit either one,so I can't say anything positive or negative about them.I have tried to buy one of each, but I have not as yet been successful.

I urge my supporters to refrain from inflamatory remarks about any of my detractors, after all I get calls to buy every time they respond so they aren't hurting me.Please do not feel it necessary to defend me.The cues will speak for themselves,if people like them they will report it,if they don't they will report that also.I urge everyone to wait for the final verdict. Then call and buy a custom cue from me.After all I need the money.

Oh yes,I have not and am not claiming that everyone will play better with my cue .But so far that does seem to be the case.We are still at 100% customer approval.

are you serious?have i completely misread all of these hyped up threads?

you have totally mis read

2 people paid and both recieved their cues and posted positive, one forum member reported hitting one of the cues and liking it ,3 cues were mailed Friday, and 10 will ship soon. After that we will ship 5 or so pr week if the machinery holds up.Sooner or later someone might not like my cue and we will hear from them.Doesn't it make sense to wait until someone is actually unhappy before the rest of us complain?

Name one person who has the cue and has not posted a positive review or one person who has paid and not recieved the cue(not the 3 who were mailed this week)
5 people including Nick,Grassley,Adam, and 3 people who bought cues here have said positive things, about either me or the cue ,not one person who bought from me has complained. If there is such a person will you please post now?

This should stop the complaining, not one person who bought is complaining. So why are the rest so troubled?

this should put things in perspective,if this is true and I defy anyone to provide information and facts it isn't,don't you think someone owes me an apology?

I've had a gorgeous Bubinga cue from Joey for over a year. The workmanship is impeccable. The hit is as solid as a person could want. I had to wait over a year but the wait was well worth it. I spent several hours with him today and he has some unbelievable woods. Some of his shaft wood rings like metal when hit on concrete. They have a super high pitched ring. It is almost impossible to count the growth rings on some of his top of the line shafts. He was setting up some new equipment designed by a friend of his. I'm looking forward to seeing his future work. By the way my cue has no metal in it and the balance is perfect! Also he has posted pics of his cues many times.

i didn't know he even made cues when I asked who he was and why he was so negative.I am not criticizing his work, never have.

I've owned one cue from Joey, and the cue played really really well....I'm also very fortunate that Joey took a order from me.......trust me if Joey built more cues.....he would have no problem selling them....lets just say he is in demand!!!

I am very fortunate also to have a JoeyinCali cue comming too. I pm several members about his cues on here and all them said hey great they played. He doesnt have to self promote his cues.

oh i agree wholeheartedly , they are off the chart hilarious lol/ joey started a new thread something bout the dean cue in a mock form , i dunno where it is now but asking question is one thing but starting a thread purposely to make look bad is another. it is funny how things go ,kinda like one kid tells a story ,then go around the room then gets to last kid it is different rofl. kinda like whoever called me a follower roflmao. these threads have made me laugh so hard i love it. that is why i keep posting funny pics .:D

i mean he calls out another member but has shown no cues that he makes??? put up time . im waiting on pics patiently

hell i just came back to the forums like 2weeks ago lol, then i joined in the talk and so far had a blast. i mean alot of folks are bashing the cue without even seeing or using it so as a good guy i took up for someone. but now i guess im the sidekick (roflmfao) lets just wait and see like every otheer cue made. but in meantime having fun . the forums are better then a soap opera.

If you would do a little research, you could find out all you wanted about Joey's cues. Joey doesn't need to explain himself to you - anyone who's participated on this forum for the last year knows him - if you don't, then maybe you should lay a bit lower initially instead of making your 'forum comeback' balls-to-the-wall.

Joey is actually a cue-maker and prides himself in his cue knowledge - as opposed to Deano, Joey actually knows why his cues play the way they do. That's why people want his cues. Deano is a Ronco Ginsu knife type saleman, and he's going after a low-budget uninformed market that pays for hype on a whim, hoping a piece of wood will be the miracle they need to learn how to play pool. Same guys who were into alchemy 600 years ago. I'm not guessing any of this - just read his posts.

Well planned out hype will always lighten some wallets and fatten up others.

Let the Deano cue go the way of the Popeil Pocket Fisherman and that spray on hair stuff Popeil was marketing.
