decent low priced cues

Hi, i'm just getting back into playing after a few years break, and am looking for a good playing cue in the 300-400 $ range. I know thats probaly asking alot but i'm kinda limited right now. I did have a slight lean towards a Dominiak, sweet 16 or spj, but that's not set. I've heard pretty good things about those cues.
Any help would be appreciated.
I play now with a decent McDermott.
Thanx

i would recommend a RAT cue. he makes a great cue for a great price. he is a member here. i had a cue made by him and he knocked it out of the park! i would definitely get ahold of him.

here's a link to his cues...

There are alot of good playing cues for that price range on the (near new)secondary market, and a few new ones. Leon Sly, Bob Fry, Jeff Olney, Tom Coker, to name a few. Look in the WTB/ for sale section.
Good luck-jeff

Sign of the times when you see beauties like these at those prices? Or are these all warped :D? Just kidding, they look very nice, that Curly Maple is fantastic!

I also agree with you 100%, Ryan ( Rat Cues) makes a great cue at a very affordable price. But, I would buy directly from him, and not on the secondary market. He can be contacted here on the forum or at Mueller Recreational Products.

Hope this helps

Brent of BHQ can make you a super nice cue, go talk to him.. his handle here is BHQ.. I've played with a lot of his cues, and has never been disappointed..

There are also a bunch of cues that could be traded for a P220, P226 or P239.... :D

would check out RAT as mentioned above as well...

there was a guy selling a rat cue here not too long ago for $200 which is a total steal.

you were kidding but I talked to Greg on the phone a number of times several years ago when he was in California and he was then making cues way below what you would expect to pay for that much cue. He hasn't stopped.
