Dechaine vs Feijen grudge match

He's clearly the best American player right now. I put that maybe in there only because I would like to see a bit of international success out of him. I don't think he's as rock solid as Appleton at this point.

He robbed Darren of getting a third consecutive U.S. Open title and shut him out in his match at the Mosconi Cup.

Not a lot of Americans are playing in international events, SVB does because he's that good. I'll take him in the upcoming TAR match with odds if you don't think he's at Darren's level yet :p

Holy crap  but maybe his lack of experience would let him down.

What exactly does "a bit of international success" mean to you? Does it simply mean winning a tournament on foreign soil? If so, then maybe you have an argument...a weak argument but an argument nonentheless. But if it means winning tournaments that comprise a solid international field, you don't think that last US Open victory alone does it for you? If not, what about his previous US Open? Or maybe the last two DCC All Around titles? (It's interesting to note that out of all the Europeans champions who have entered DCC in its history, absolutely NONE of them have won the All Around.)

Sorry to derail the thread, but that "maybe" in the previous post completely caught me off guard as well.

Who would have ever thought a "maybe" would get me in so much trouble? I usually use the "maybe" to keep myself out of trouble.

Anyways, upon further reflection the "maybe" was out of line. Shane definitely deserves to be included in that group. I think I just got my initial thoughts mixed up a bit and really just needed to reflect a bit more on Shane's run over the course of the past few years.

Alright you win....I lose.....anything else?

Well, then he can play Pretty Boy Mills some..

Just kidding

Well,

this is like a "woulda, shoulda, coulda" thread.

But no matter what discipline you choose. If they would play longer races, i would ANY amount on Feijen.

And just for the break- i know that many just talking about Shanes break (and he is for sure a good breaker)- but Feijen imo is on the same stage.
Maybe i m wrong-but it seems to me that the thread-opener on one side just made a joke or he isn t that long on the pool-world. Feijen is one of the most feared and consistant players since years-and he loves to gamble :)

Sheer tournament experience alone should tell you this guy will probably feel less pressure than whoever he's playing, because he's in tournaments (and on TV) allllll the timeeeee. Also, did someone say 15-pack? Holy shit. And 259 in straight pool.

Not bad for a guy who's apparently mostly blind in one eye.

over 400 in 14/1:eek:

Sick...literally.

I wouldn't want to have to play that face every day, I tell you that.
