delta triangle pool cue

The site indicates the technology is patented. I just emailed them asking what the patent number is, as I'd like to view the patent.

how would you replace the tip and ferrule.

Never tried it, but it's round. Only the bridge portion of the shaft is triangular. It's awfully gimmicky. Draw a line with a sharpie, that'll be the same effect.

Anyone ever tried one out , how would you replace the tip and ferrule.

I want a boomerang pool cue one that when i get mad i can throw it and it comes back to me.

I had one like 40 years ago, it may have been made by Palmer if I remember right. It is based on the idea that it fits the bridge had more naturally. It actually hinders your play. You don't want your shaft locked in any one position. All those micro adjustments you make, many you are not even aware of, is how you play at a high level. That shaft would be a handicap.

Friend of mine makes a hex shaft. He markets it as a training aid. Says it teaches people not to roll their wrist. When they follow through.

Perhaps in training it could help, about playing there's an issue with tip form as well, could a triangular tip address the CB well?
A hex one should do it better but then again there's also the overall feeling part...

Training aid

I can see how that would tell you if you are rolling your wrist .
put a mark on the shaft or ferrule, that also tells you if you roll your wrist.

At first I thought this was a joke , just another gimmick,
But if Its designed as a training aid then I can see how it could help.

Alot of people twist there hand or wrist in the middle to end of there stroke.

MMike

i played with one of these shafts about 2 years ago when i destroyed my wrist. it does help with the twisting of the wrist. but the shafts are not for breaking at all i think it was palmer that made them not 100% on that though its good to train with. but would not spend 150 for this thing.

happy fathers day

How are you doing,

I disagree , if you throw a stick and it doesnt come back to you its called a( leaverite)

As in leave it right there:rolleyes:

I didnt read up on this shaft when I posted this thread.
I had never heard of a triangle shaft before.

I actually bought one of these cues a couple of months ago. Now I consider myself an average player, but after playing with it for about a week, my game has improved drastically. I am able to be a challenge, and even beat friends that ive always had no chance of beating. I've corrected my wrist spinning, and I have no trouble breaking. I really don't think that this cue would cause any handicap. I'm able to adjust to every shot I have taken. Hope my info is helpful.

I first saw this at SBE about 3-5 years ago and it felt pretty good. They were selling the service of doing this to your shaft. There was no way they were hacking up one of mine.
