Dennis Hatch's Mosconi Cup Cues for Raffle!!!

Have Dennis make a YouTube video about it and maybe some footage of him shooting (a match perhaps)?. His videos get a lot of hits.

To be honest....to me 50 bucks a chance is just too rich...

I mean 1 in 200 odds are the same as having your identity stolen these days...

might do better making 100 slots at 100...they do that with motorcycles..

It will be at Bison after the Ultimate 10-ball tournament in Dallas on April 21-24
I don't know where or in what, that's up to them.
I see in one of the raffle threads it can be seen by appointment... I would like to take a look at it but i dont want to be a nuisance.

Will the cue be in the glass cases on display at bison?

Like Dennis said, it will be in an enclosed wall case for display purposes only once he returns from his tournament

You wont be a nuisance at all. You are more than welcome to give the pool hall a call and schedule an appointment or simply come in during our hours of operation. PM me for further information!

Thanks,

Jr.

50 for a 1 in 200 different from 100 for 1 in a 100...

both still too rich for me...but others might think a 1 or 2 in a 100 better odds

HUH:confused:

Just buy $200 worth and you have 4:200 or 2:100 which is all = to 4%, not bad. That's my plan once there are a few more sold.

I imagine once 1/2 the spots are sold it will take off very quickly.

I've seen this cue up close on several occasions, very unique and impressive.

In time as Dennis continues to achieve the level of recognition and accomplishment that his game deserves, the winner will have something of terrific value.

Thank you!

I do agree that 1:200 is a pretty big gamble for $50. You could drop $1000 and still only have a 10% chance at winning.

Normal raffles on this site have similar (but worse) odds to playing a number in roulette, which is a shot in the dark itself.

Not knocking it, but an outright sale to a collector might sell faster than this fills. Wish ya luck, just offering perspective.

Sweet cue though!

Here's how I look at it. If it wasn't my cue I would even buy a ticket and I'm a pool player, $50 to win a cue that was used in the biggest event in pool by the first rookie MVP in 17 years IMHO isn't that expensive.
I appreciate your advice though. Thank you

If this raffle doesn't work I will try selling it to a collector!
Just thought people would like the opportunity to win the cue for themselves rather than just sell it.
I thought it would be exciting and give the public a cheap shot at owning a piece of history.

Maybe I missed it, but what are the specs of the cue? Is there a picture of it available to see?

Assuming that all 200 entries are filled for the entire $10,000.00, what value would the winner place on the cue?

Good luck to all participants.

J
