Dennis Orcollo wears glasses

As someone who wears glasses all the time I don't have a clue how anyone can play in them. They slide down my face all the time and I just end up looking over the top of them anyway.
I agree.

I tried wearing glasses for pool when my distance vision started deteriorating.

I gave up on them and I had a pair of contacts made specifically for pool.

Now that I have had cataract surgery for both eyes, I don't need anything.

Glasses never held back Steve Mizerak.
It isn't the "glass" that holds them back, it's the frames and the way glasses are constructed.

Glasses for playing pool need to be constructed differently than normal day-to-day glasses.

The "sweet spot" on a glasses lens needs to be adjusted so that it is centered on the person's eyes while they are leaning over the table in their stance looking at the shot and table.
