They're all over the place this week. Raj and Rodney came into my league room tonight down in Orange County.

April/May is getting stronger every year for West Coast pool.

Brandon Shuff and Scott Frost invaded Butera's Billiards (Moorpark) yesterday. Sal and Brandon played for a bit and other games likely started up after I left.

Dennis played One Pocket tonight with Tall Phil and One Pocket Rich. We made 1K total. Not bad for a guy who is still trying to learn the "moves."

Here he is beating Corey Duell in a race to 3. Of course corey is still trying to learn the "moves" too.

Good thing Tony Chohan beat him in the finals of the Hard Times Jamboree one pocket back 6 years ago or it might have been a hard sell that he can't move.

Shane was there, Busty got in tonight. Scott Frost, Manny C. Brandon Shuff, Max Eberle, Dave Hemmah were all at Hard Times tonight. Should be a great event, it starts at !2.

You didn't actually watch this video, did you? This is from last year at Shooters in Olathe, KS. Corey sold out, leaving Dennis an open shot at his pocket. Dennis can and will run balls if they are out in the open. He is a great player with a lot of pool savvy. Watch how long he takes to decide what to shoot in his first two innings. It's obvious he is trying to figure out what to do. He is still somewhat unfamiliar with this game. But he's learning fast!

Wayne, you have probably played more One Pocket in a week then Dennis has in his life. Ask Rich how he shot against Dennis. I saw him miss several balls within two diamonds of his pocket, where he was shooting straight at the ball! He didn't wake up until the third set, which he won. Right now Wayne, you might be the favorite over Dennis, but give him 6 months to a year and he might become like Shane. He already shoots straight and moves the cue ball like Efren.
