DENNIS SEARING CUE WITH 2 SHAFTS WITH NEW MOORI TIPS. RADIAL PIN, 58". IT IS ONE OF ONLY THREE THAT DENNIS HAS DONE WITH THE TULIPWOOD HANDLE. MADE IN 99, STILL IN GREAT SHAPE. WEIGHT 19 WITH THE 13.05MM SHAFT, AND 18.9 WITH THE 13MM SHAFT. I WAS GOING TO USE THIS AS MY PLAYER, BUT HAVE DECIEDED TO STICK WITH MY TASCARELLA FOR NOW. I DON'T THINK IT'S RIGHT TO HAVE A CUE THAT PLAYS THIS WELL JUST SITTING IN A CASE. I'M HOPEING A PLAYER PICKS THIS UP, IT DESERVES TO BE PLAYED.

ASKING 2250.00 SHIPPED, OR WOULD CONSIDER TRADING FOR A TASCARELLA.

They must have gone up quite a bit. I bought a used one a couple of years ago very similar with one shaft for $800.

WELL, IF YOU CAN STILL GET THEM FOR THAT I'LL TAKE ALL YOU CAN FIND AND I'M SURE THAT SEVERAL OTHER COLLECTOR DEALERS ON THIS SITE WOULD DO THE SAME. A FEW YEARS AGO I BOUGHT AN INLAID TASCARELLA FOR 1500, I CAN'T DO THAT ANYMORE(UNLESS YOU HAVE A SPECIAL SOURCE FOR THOSE AS WELL)

Hey Mike,

I believe his base price is now around $1300. It only goes up from there.

that $1300 is for 4 pointers with veneers.i know these cues arfe hard to come by but $2250 is a little steep.Mike did you buy yours from Adam Orr,did it look just like this one except better birdseye, darker more purple tulipwood and some blue in the rings,if so that was my old cue.Just curious.

I did buy it from Adam. I also bought a plain maple cue from him (through cuecollector.com) for around 800, and it sold about 6 months later for around 1300.

Fast,

Why are you seeming to take this so personally? I didn't have a "special source". That's just what the seller was asking. Your smart assed comment about Tascarellas does nothing to change the fact that I bought the cue for what I did. In fact, the next time you talk to Pete Tascarella, ask him what I paid for the last rosewood cue I bought from him. It was last year and I did pay 1500 for it (but it was plain rosewood with 4 points). But that was after waiting on it for over a year before he increased his prices so much. I flipped the cue a week later for 2250 to Rich S in Pennsylvania. You know as well as anyone that there is alot of fluctuation in the cue market. It's nothing personal against you or Searing.

Koop,

But that's new from Searing. Someone with a used cue who needs $ will often take less than retail. We both know that.

I DON'T FEEL I NEED TO DEFEND MY ASKING PRICE, BUT I WILL CORRECT YOUR STATEMENT. MR. SEARINGS POINTED CUES START AT 1900, AND HIS BASIC CUES WITH A LINEN WRAP AND NO POINTS I BELEIVE ARE ABOUT 1300. MY NON-POINTED CUE WITH A STEEL HALF JOINT SHOULD BE COMPLETED SHORTLY, SO I'LL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HE GETS FOR THEM.

I DON'T MIND PEOPLE PUTTING THERE 2 CENTS INTO A THREAD BUT WHAT YOU DID WAS WRONG. IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY PRICE DON'T BUY IT, BUT DO NOT SHARE INACCURATE INFORMATION THAT WOULD EFFECT MY SELLING PRICE. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT JUST SOLD A SEARING THAT HAS A SCHMELKE HOUSE CUE BLANK FOR 2500, AND IT WASN'T NEARLY AS NICE OR AS RARE AS THIS CUE. THE MARKET WILL DETERMINE PRICE AND I KNOW THAT.

I ALSO KNOW I WOULDN'T GO INTO SOMEONE THREADS, MAKE FALSE STATEMEMNTS AND THEN QUESTION THEIR ASKING PRICE. IT'S JUST WRONG TO DO THAT. THOSE STATEMENTS ARE WHY THEY'RE AREN'T MORE HIGH END CUES LISTED HERE FOR SALE.

I WASN'T TAKING ANY OF YOUR COMMENTS PERSONALLY. I DIDN'T APPRECIATE WHAT MASON DID IN REGARDS TO MY ASKING PRICE. WHAT WAS PAID A FEW YEARS AGO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT THE MARKET IS DOING NOW. 3 YEARS AGO I BOUGHT A SEARING JUMP BREAK FOR 400.00, WE BOTH KNOW THAT WON'T HAPPEN NOW.

I FULLY AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT. IF I WAS IN NEED OF THE MONEY I WOULD TAKE A LOSS ON IT, BUT I DON'T NEED THE CASH. I JUST DIDN'T FEEL IT WAS RIGHT TO LET A SEARING PLAYERS CUE JUST SIT IN A COLLECTION, IT SHOULD BE USED BY SOMEONE WHO WILL APPRECIATE IT.

What is a half joint?

IT'S A HALF INCH STEEL JOINT THAT IS THREADED ONTO THE FOREARM. IT'S SOMETHING THAT DENNIS OFFERS ON HIS CUES. IT ALLOWS FOR MORE FEEL THAN A STANDARD STELL JOINT. FROM WHAT HE TOLD ME IT IS HIS PERSONAL PREFERENCE. I CAN SAY THAT THE ONE I HIT WITH WAS AMAZING.

i bought a titlist conversion searing 2 years ago for $900.

sold it last year at valley forge for almost $3000.

the guy who bought it sold it in 2 hours for a profit.

searing cues are ultra hot for many reasons right now, and will be for a long time, if not forever.

the cue is priced right.....i wish i had a little more cash to buy it.

At $800 each, I will take 5 right now.
This could be easier money to make than the oil companies during the last hurricane.
