Hi all,

I'm about a week late in posting this up...but better late than never.

Long story short - I sent my Searing cue to Dennis for some tweaking...and the man proceeded to jump through hoops to hook me up.

For those that know me (or know of me), I've owned a cue or two in the past.:grin: Some were great...some were not so great. Some guys have customer service skills that are incredible...and some could use a few lessons on how to treat their customers.

Dennis Searing...without a doubt...deserves to be at the top of the list with some of the very best (I'll use this statement to extend a tip of the hat to Tim Scruggs and Mike Cochran, who are also at the very top when it comes to how well they treat their customers).

I know his cues take a LONG time to acquire. I know he isn't the fastest gun in the west when it comes to answering the phone or returning messages.

I'm here to tell you, though...once you get a cue from Dennis, he's a pain in the royal ass  with followup phone calls and e-mails to check on you to see if you're happy...or if you want something tweaked.

I only had my cue for a couple weeks before I deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan...and then it sat for 7 months, all alone in the closet. As soon as I got home and dropped a line to Dennis to let him know I was back, he had me toy around with the cue and followed up with me 3 different times within two weeks, just to see if I was still happy with it. Last week, I hit him up to ask if I could get it worked on a bit...and he literally DEMANDED that I send the cue to him so he could take care of me. He's genuinely concerned about his customers, and sincerely wants those with one of his cues to be happy.

I thought that this kind of customer service deserved to be recognized. I know that Dennis has his fan club...as well as those that are on the other side of the fence...but as a Searing Cue owner, I could not be happier with the cue itself or with the time, effort, and energy that Dennis exhausts to ensure that I'm 100% in love with the cue he made me...which I am.

I cannot stress enough how great Dennis and his cues are. For those that have one on order...I promise you, it's worth the wait. Just keep your cell phone battery charged...'cuz when Dennis is on a roll, you'll be on the phone with him for a LONG time!!! ;)

A PUBLIC "THANK YOU" TO DENNIS IS VERY MUCH IN ORDER, AND VERY WELL DESERVED.

Ya'll have a great Sunday, and tune in to Monday Night Football to watch my Saints hand Brady and the Pats their ass!!:grin::grin:

Dennis Searing

Come out of your shell and tell us you really think of Dennis Searing Mark.

Wishing more good Karma to you.
For what you do for this country you deserve all that's good and great pool cues seem to have a certain mystique that makes me happy too.

Happy holidays to you and your family, and it's good to have you back in the swing.

It sounds as though Dennis is doing what he loves,
" Making cues for the people that truly enjoy his art and craftsmanship ".

His cues have the reputation of being the best that he can make them and this is an understatement.

He's at the top of his craft.

Naturally he wants to hear from his customers so that if a tweak is needed, he will most certainly perform this duty.

It's a guarantee that his customer will be satisfied !!!

This is great follow up.

This makes it become full circle.

Thanks for the thread - this is why he has such a long waiting list

To be successful in any business, you have to have a great product and treat your customers as if they were family, and in our small, yet large pool world, we truly are !

I've heard a little bit about you and what you do from Bill at Cornerstone, isn't it nice to have a little bit of diversion from our daily chores, such as AZ Billiards

Thanks for the Thread !!

Some day I would love to own one of his cues. I know it would be much easier to just buy one second hand, but I would like him to make one for me. I think his work is absolutely beautiful.

I own a lot of cues, but put my Searing cue at the top. It is my regular player cue. Although I could be regularly changing my player out for another from my collection, I just cannot bring myself to do it.

I also am notorious for letting anyone who can play, take some swings with it. Obviously, feedback is always positive.

Dennis is one of the really good guys, and does care deeply about what he sends out the door & who's enjoying it.
Will... maybe I'll manage to catch you w/ your Searing sometime, and be so lucky as to hit a few with it!? Just to see it in person would be a treat!

Hi Will,
so hopefuly you will have it with you at Valley Forge, because the "stupid Austrian" want´s to try it.

And my two cents about Dennis are, that he has treated me great, too, and i have to wait for more then 4 years now.
We changed some emails and he was great from the first to the last. Fast and awesome communication.
In that case i realy hope the years are going by a little bit faster now

Mark, It's really nice to see yet another Searing customer simply elated with Dennis' follow-up service. I just talked to Dennis for an hour and a half and he mentioned you and what you have done for our country. He said that it was your main player, that's great!
Thank you Dennis and Mark for the honorable way that you guys do things."country" Bob

Thank you much, sir.

It IS my main player...and although I know the cue is in excellent hands during the "tweaking" process...I miss it terribly. Can't wait to get it back from Dennis!!!

Thank you for the kinds words, and a BUMP for Dennis and his cues/service.

Mark

Happy campers

This thread is one of the reasons that there is no such thing as a dissatisfied customer of Searing Cues. He takes his business and customers very seriously and will make absoultely sure your the buyers of his cues are totally happy.. Just another reason so many are waiting patiently to get the nod that he is ready to build a cue for them!

The simple truth

Dennis Searing a cuemakers definition of a cuemaker You are the man Dennis ............Ray:grin:

The man even calls/writes to wish me a Merry X-mas and Happy New Year...without provocation.

I've had the pleasure of being the customer of some really great cuemakers...but Dennis takes the cake.

Just a bump for a great guy, a top-tier cuemaker, and a friend.

All the best to ya, Dennis.

Mark
