Well everyone, I just got home from the Derby City Classic. This was the first time I have gone for the whole tournament. What an experience!

It was nice to meet everyone that post here. I know I didn't get a chance to meet everyone, but it was very nice speaking to and meeting everyone I met.

The tournament went well. I played in the bank tournament and got beat first round and realized bank pool isn't for me. I didn't play in the one pocket event. Lack of sleep got the best of me. I did however place well in the 9ball, 20th place. It was fun to be a part of a tournament that was a different format and one that has so many great players.

The action was great as usual. I saw some big sets and great players matching up. I didn't have too much myself. Partly because the 9ball tournament was important and partly because the action this year seemed to be bigger this year.

And thank you to Greg Sullivan, BCn TV, and everyon else involved for putting on a great tournament. I wish you all the best in future endeavors.

Anyway, it was a great trip all in all. I hope everyone I got to meet will keep in touch and everyone I didn't get to meet hopefully I will see you at a different tournament or next year at the DCC.

20th!!!! Man you should be proud of yourself. The only thing that keeps me from entering is the fear of not breaking 300th! LOL!!!! Congrats!
 
Thank you yobagua. I appreciate it. I am proud even though the luck of the draw has alot to do with things. But still, with that field I cannot complain. It is an honor to finish that high.

Yes, for the 9ball. Scott Smith said it was the highest finish by a female ever in the 9ball tournament. Jeanette was the highest finishing female in the other two tournaments.

So, with your new success, are you looking for sponsorship???? Maybe you and Rachel Abbink can become road partners or something, just an idea.

MFB...yes I did run into him but I don't think he knows that I know who he is. He didn't have anything to say to me in person.

BackPocket...I can't really remember everyone I played. I lost to Tony Chohan and Billy Bailey. I got lucky to catch a bye in round 6. But luck is a huge part of the game.
