I was in Dallas and worked at Diamonds for a couple of months. Things just didn't go according to plans and I had no choice but, move on. That's life.
They want this place to fourish and be the type place everyone wants to play. Sure, even ownership likes to gamble at the game, but, they are not putting pressure on anyone to come in and gamble on their nice equipment. They want to see everyone their and enjoying themselves.
Billy and Jeff are good businessmen and true enough may have planned a bit from the heart, but really believed there was a market for what was proposed. Sometimes things just don't work out according tto the way they were written.
I congratulate them on a bold initiative and hope they cn rebound and come up with a plan to turn this into a profitable venture. The place is so nice, it seems a shame to see it close.
I wish them well.
FWIW, while I was there, it was a very friendly place. I never saw any hard hustling going on. The ones who gamble, gambled among themselves.
