Diamond Pro Am is now installed and I have contractor coming on Wed to hang the light. I belive I have everything I need but, in order to access the hanging points in the ceiling and hook up the power it will be necessary to "stand on the table". Any things I should be carefull of? Any tricks? Should I lay some plywood etc. on top of the bed? Any advice would be helpful.

It is fine, as long as he is a normal sized human.

I would put down some cardboard tho. Nothing will piss you off like a boot print on yer simonis!

I would recommend him using a step ladder to get on the table, preferably stepping towards the center in his socks. Don't let him lift himself on the table via the rail.

I'm not a mechanic but two ladders and a 2X8. Yeah, ya gotta be normal size too.

One piece slate, no seams to pop:grin: standing on it is OK:grin:

Make sure you cover the cloth with a thick moving blanket or similar. It's very easy to drop a tool when you are working overhead.

No shoes. Don't sit on, stand on or pull yourself up by the rails. Should be fine other than that.
