Thought I'd share a few pics of a new 9' Diamond Paragon table install that QADDICTION and I recently completed. Nice table!
Absolutely beautiful table. I’m struck by the design of the squared outer corners - too easy to accidentally run in to the corners while walking around the table in the course of playing.Thought I'd share a few pics of a new 9' Diamond Paragon table install that QADDICTION and I recently completed. Its my favorite Diamond. They had it at the DCC one year as the main table. I snuck up to it to hit a few balls in between matches and test that corner. You definitely have to watch your junkAbsolutely beautiful table. Does look dangerous...but as they say:Absolutely beautiful table. I’m struck by the design of the squared outer corners - too easy to accidentally run in to the corners while walking around the table in the course of playing.
I know I got a good crown to trade for it.Its my favorite Diamond. They had it at the DCC one year as the main table. I snuck up to it to hit a few balls in between matches and test that corner. You definitely have to watch your junkBut it looks so good, its probably worth it.
Not sure about infrastructure, but both tables weigh 1200 lbs in the 9’ version. Slate is 600 lbs of that. The Paragon has more of whatever hardwood you choose (in my case, Maple). So maybe there is some additional infrastructure in the Professional to get to the 1200 lbs. I’d be interested to know.Looks great. I have a question though. Doesn't the Diamond professional have some large epoxy resign impregnated beams? Seems the Paragon is less built like a tank, yet costs more. Just wondering
There’s a video from Diamond assembling a professional table somewhere here in AZ landNot sure about infrastructure, but both tables weigh 1200 lbs in the 9’ version. Slate is 600 lbs of that. My helper and I completed the install in about 4 hoursWhat is the labor involved? 2 guys 4 hours or more?
I knew a couple of guys who put cloth on old tables and installed new tables.
I helped Bill Berger (passed) and Joe Thomas in order to learn a bit about it.
The Professional uses timber strand beams.Looks great. I have a question though. Doesn't the Diamond professional have some large epoxy resign impregnated beams? Seems the Paragon is less built like a tank, yet costs more. Just wondering
