Does anyone know if Diamondback has gone belly up? Their website is no long working and stock of their product has slowly been drying up at retailers. Too bad...I really liked their cue tips!

Hi McChen,

Yes the guy that was operating that business got himself in a bunch of trouble. That is the word I was told. However, I do have the same tips that he was selling if you are interested. The only difference is that he was using some kind of black dye and putting stickers on them! The ones I have are not dyed! By the way, just curious to know what he was charging you for the tips!

Thanks,

Emile

How much are you selling 'em for?

probably 5 or so. not a whole lot i know i'd just like to try them out. they're 1 piece leather and medium?

All I have in stock are the medium laminated tips. If I get enough reponse for the pressed tips, then I will order them. If you order 4 or more of the laminated tips, I will let them go for $6 each plus shipping. That would be a great price, compared for what they were selling them before!

i've been buying the non-layered tips, haven't tried the laminated ones. the single layer tips were the best tips i've ever used. very similar to a triangle, but slightly softer. super consistent from tip to tip, i've never gotten a bad one. i was buying them from various retailers, they usually go for around $6.

i'd be interested in the single layer ones if you can get them and i'd try a few laminated to see how those are.

is it true that tiger was making these tips for diamondback?

Hi McChen, I prefer the laminated ones a little better. I have personally played with both. I really don't know if Tiger was the manufacturer or not. If you are still interested in the laminated tips, just send me a pm.

Thanks again!

Emile
