Just imagine yourself walking into the pool room

All those bully types trying to get you to play, and wanting to bet big money

Of course they don't play each other, they pick on you and guys like you>

Why,because they know you and know you play at a certain level

But just imagine that you could improve your game, what would happe

They would see the slow progress and you would be no better off than you were before

BUT WAIT
What if you could secretly improve your game almost over night,Then
instead of being the ANVIL,you,yes
sir,you will be the hammer

Those guys that give you 10 to 4 will find out they can't even give you 10 to 6 or even 8

How,you ask how can such a wonderful change come upon you so fast

KNOWLEDGE,KNOWING what to shoot when and how

It can happen almost overnight

But it won't happen on your own,you need someone who knows all the secrets
to wake you up

Yes o numbskull, the secret is knowledge

Didn't Benjamin franklin say"Pour your purse into your head"

Learn the game, all the tricks from

TOM WIRTH

for a lousy $500 bucks for a couple of days instruction and you can be A NUMBER ONE KING OF THE HILL

Why not bust those know it alls, bust every one in one quick set

$500 won't even amount to one game

It won't be gambling.IT wil be stealing

PS

they deseve it,its pool after all,it just you doing the winning
with zero chance of losing

Schedule your spot in dallas for the TOM WIRTH
a thon

PS

That part is Dean, yep give me credit for the LARCENY

give Tom credit for teaching you the game like others never know

Don't blame tom if you win thousands ,he only taught you to play smart

Give dean the credit for the LARCENY

call to reserve your spot

or remain a sucker the rest of your life

CAN YOU DIG IT?

Dean I've told players for years the best hustle out there is to learn and get better, those who beat up on you just can't seem to believe they can't win anymore

"ZERO" chance of losing huh? Sounds like one of those ads they only run at 3am. Seriously, good instruction helps but ONLY when combined with effective practice and better mental approach. Not saying this cat isn't 'wirth" the $$$ but don't lay it on too thick.

No, I've never had that dream. My dream is that the most deserving are the big winners, those that work the hardest at their games, their demeanor and their sportsmanship.

aw shucks ,please send me your address
let me send some apple pie

funny how seldom we even hear about those good sports

I mean other than Earl,Mike, and all that bunch

I guess there are some pool players that like to gamble
poker players are never found playing for funsy

but the rest seem to enjoy winning
sometimes they enjoy beating the know it all who picks on us

isn't it funny how seldom good players actually play each other

they are just waiting for a sucker like me to show up

You had me going there, Dean. I was livin' the dream, soaking up the accolades until you hit me with the "for a lousy $500." Boy, talk about buzz kill. :)

Kidding aside, if I lived in Dallas and if I played 1p, I'd be there!

Good luck assembling the group.

1p lessons. I'll speak for myself only. Learning to play 1p from the beginning was like taking music lessons. One lesson is only step one. Learn basics and move onto a song...or in 1P..learn basics/drills then the game. Takes time...Cannot learn over night.

As for Tom. He has been working with me for a while. I started with take-outs, A while ago I jokingly asked when do I get my diploma....he says when I run out on him. Well I did that today. I ran out with more open shots on the table....could have gone 9-10. He looks at me and says that is the best game I ever played with him. I reply...everything good that I did was because of you...it came from you. If you like what I'm doing...consider what you do as a teacher to be very successful. I'm very proud of my progress. I have no unrealistic expectations. I play for fun but keep it intense and take it seriously. He is so easy to click with as a student. If cool describes him..he is frozen.
The rest of the afternoon was educational and entertaining. Leave Tom safe...he finds a carom and goes out. Trap him...get trapped back. Think you got him....yeah right. He can pull a hat out of a rabbit sometimes. I'm changing my screen name to Lucky1..... that's how I feel about having him as my teach....

DAN
,you ought to come
you can stay over at the house and make the trip less expensive

I think you will love the game, but it is not straight pool thinking

running balls wil be easy, but i think you will love the game if Tom can explain it to you

open new vista

Look at Gold crown and his comments

have you ever seen a guy so excited about anything?

If you wonder what the results will be,read how much this guy loves Tom and the game

Here is a guy who doesn't gamble but he loves one pocket because
Tom has introduced him to the intellectually stimulating side of
pool best game

If you can come,if not buy the book and look at the videos here on az

I do think 1p is interesting, but high level knowledge like that would be wasted on me at this point. Once I master 14.1 and it becomes boring I'll move on to 1p!

Don't lay it on too thick

Is that even possible`?
Just messin with ya deano. I've watched a lot of TW's youtube stuff and it is stronger than bear's breath. Seen some shots that blew my mind. Wish i could afford to buy the book but right now its not doable.

High level knowledge is a terrible thing to waste. Start with baby steps ...they turn giant. One Pocket becomes problematic. Too much time spent practicing, playing, thinking about it.
And when it's show time...be careful. My wife asked if I love her more than OnePocket. I asked her to repeat that... (I needed a minute to come up with something real sincere).

as for high level knowledge or let's call it Advanced One Pocket.... I told Tom in the beginning I can't do this I can't do that.... I only have so much skill... can we get the most out of that....That's all I'm looking for. He says he's going to open my mind. To think things through. To be creative. To self analyze... why things happen and how to correct errors/flaws. I started sweating...thinking why did I get involved...it's way over my head. But with practice and Tom's encouragement the puzzle goes together one piece at a time. I'll never be a great player....just looking to play a respectable game. I'm playing and understanding the game more than I thought I could. I will never master it but sure is fun trying.

One pocket is a GREAT game!!

It does take a long time to learn and requires a LOT of patience. I agree that one isn't going to pick up too much in one session. (esp. a beginner) You need to play it every day, and back it with banks. That is why the chicago guys are always hard to beat!!

I have described it as keeping your opponents face in the toilet submerged with your foot on the back of his neck with steady pressure....... ;o)

Have fun boys!! Doc

Really understanding the game can go a long way

toward improving a person really quickly

Benjamen Franklin said"Experience is a dear teacher but a fool will learn from no other"

Meaning as i understand him

It is possible to learn through trial and error but it sure is painful slow and costly.
However a fool will learn from no other way.
a fooll knows nothing about the advantage of learning from a good and wise teacher

Lets apply this to pool

The fool thinks he knows it all,he has a few mantras such as
you gotta practice practice practice, work on drills and do what all the other losers do

When offered an opportunity to learn from a master, the fool would rather lean on his own understanding

"you expect me to pay $500 to some so called expert, not me.

Interesting statement. I know handful of players that rely on HAMB a million times over and over and but never improve...but think they are. Sort of like chasing your taIl. Don't be The Fool on Hill.

I was secretly jealous of players like Frisco Jack who won hundreds of thousands playing pool when I was trying to grind out fifty a day. I know one thing. I made my biggest scores when I least expected it. I mean playing Tonk in a poolroom in Texas and winning 7K, c'mon. Or starting out for $3 a game and winning $2,000 in 1968. My dad convinced me to put my life savings (25K) into an office building in Cincinnati, Ohio and twenty years later when it was sold I got a check for over 500K! Hello! I parlayed that into other property and now I don't have to worry about Social Security getting taken away from me.

Great move. I always heard put the money into bricks. The best hustle is a pay check that comes in.
