It's a cell phone stand. You could use it without any Digi products.

If works with the phone or (and) the TV dongle. There is an app you use.

The phone stand is a common aluminum foldable stand with the DigiBall logo printed on it. I bought them from a custom supplies company for promotional purposes. It is just a chunk of metal.

The DigiBall wirelessly connects to Android or iOS devices via BLE, as well as to the DigiCast TV kit. If you have a phone stand, then you can put your phone on it and it won’t fall over.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that Digiball would not work on a phone, it worked perfectly on my phone when I had my time with the Digiball. I even posted up a pic saved on my phone from my time with the Digiball.

Okay, apologies to anyone who was waiting for me to start this, had intentions of getting it done middle of last week and then work and illness got the better of me.

Before sending the DigiBall out to the first passaround participant I was able to take it out to my local pool hall and give it a quick demo myself and wanted to share my initial thoughts.
