Tired of watching TAR as it turned into the DIppy Show. Would rather watch 2 great players match up with closer skills.

Going with other...
For the people who think he's a clever hustler or knows how to match-up..
..ask yourself this....Would you take part of his action?

He likes action and excitement...and I like some of the things he did.
He declared he wasn't looking to make any friends he just wanted action.
A man who owed him money in Vegas left his cue.He returned it because
he felt a player shouldn't be deprived of his tools.
He paid Scott to talk..he paid John to not talk.
The man pays his way and keeps his own counsel.

I think he deserves the Louis Roberts award this year.

...But I'd still like to play him scrabble
 
I've been wondering when the heck is he sleeping while at the DCC. It seems that regardless of what time I turn on the stream he is in one pocket action.
 
I believe....

...he's an average player with a bit of one pocket knowledge who just wants to gamble....... his way; I think he's good for the game, because the state of pool is boring enough..........Do you see anyone else who consistently gambles the amounts of money like the old "Rack" days?
 
All he has done is prove the stupidity of the pool world .... He waives a load of money around and lets everyone win for the small amounts and then snaps it off in their ass for the larger amounts !!!! But WAIT .... Let's just line up every day and let him do it again ... lol .... It was actually kinda comical watching some of the best players in the world step up and fall for this !!!! All I can say is DIPPY DAVE is a genius .... I just hate to see the pool world look like such IDIOTS !!! And he get's a " A+ " on the grade card for DOING WHAT DIPPY DO !!!!

I got to see the Dippy show up close this week while at the Derby and I thought it was great, he is very funny to listen to, He gets my vote for the action award b/c he was in action non stop and he was very entertaining to watch.

Dippy

He is what he is. Not a really good player, not a really bad player, but tons of gamble. I like to watch two champions go at it but I must admit I do like to sweat big money matches and we did get that. I wouldnt want a steady diet but once a year, maybe.
 
I was surprised to see him sequestered in a room that wasn't center stage.
He was playing and seemed to be having a good time, isn't that what you like to do when you play?
 
It was kind of cool watching him play one pocket and (me) not squirming on every other shot like I've been used to doing when watching the old Dippy. He's advanced a bit, and coming from someone who's way outside of the gambling world box, it was interesting watching him take off people that he normally would have been going off too. I found myself rooting for him, and having no dog in the race whatsoever.

Is the Dippy Dave super spot era over? I guess I/We will have to stay tuned.

So how did he do this week?

I hate watching him so haven't seen 1 second of it. Did he win or lose? A lot?

How was the action on the other tables? I would think a whale like Dippy kills the other action, because everyone is scared to miss the next oppurtunity to get a hand in his pocket, so they rather not play someone else. True?
