Do the Filipinos give back?

They put up their $$$ just like everybody else. They owe NOTHING! The people that owe are the ones on welfare etc. they live off of us and give nothing in return - unless you count crime as giving back.

There are overseas pool tournaments with higher cash prizes than those in the USA. If the USA players aren't good enough to go there and win them, whose fault is that? Why does anybody care what nationality the winner of a pool tournament is, anyway? I say may the best player win, even in the Mosconi Cup. I don't root for either team. I don't care who wins.

Once the gestapo IRS takes its tax rakeoff, the Filipinos owe nothing more.
"giving it back" is a concept designed to create some type of guilt for success, in my opinion.

Love your last sentence! This is partly what's wrong with pool. Today's society people think just because they "deserve" it they shouldn't have to work as hard for it!

Why should I practice as hard as SVB does, I should get my 1st place trophy too! It's not fair that only those who WORK HARD get the $$$! I should too because I'm a human being as well!

This is why i hate libs and the whole mindset of everybody should be equal!

We are all equal at birth(those of who R lucky, don't get technical)! It's what we choose to strive for in life. We choose our own destiny by the choices we made yesterday and today!

If you mean "give back" in the way of time and money to the sport or people in general in America, I will say this:

If you have ever watched any Filipino play pool, they give back in spades in knowledge, skill and entertainment.
If you're talking about donating money, they will always give to charity and those who are needy. They share food and meals.
They come from humble and meager beginnings, what we'd consider abject poverty.

So YES they give back-
Ask Skyler or Shane or anyone of our guys who has a Filipino player as a friend.
