Hi every1

Do u use gloves ?

I'm playing without gloves but week ago i bought one and i feel more comfortable , and now I feel like i need something when i play without gloves ....

When I was playing with bar sticks, I ordered a glove. Before I was able to try it out, I ordered my McDermott MG2, and it's soooo slick there's no need for a glove.

I personally think wearing a glove is gay, no offense of course...But, If there wasn't anybody wearing gloves who would we make fun of down at the pool hall.

Ok. This one is way to easy.:D :D :D :D

But seriously
Being in construction some days it is near impossible to keep my hands sweating. Especially if it is a humid day. Its about the only time I use a glove. Most times powder wont help so I have no alternative.

When i think of gloves

i think of hard core league players and graphite cues

I cut my hand open a few months ago and had to wear a glove for a few days. It was not something I want to do again.

In Bobby Jones's day golfers didn't wear gloves. Now almost everybody does. I wear a glove to avoid using powder and to keep me from feeling any tiny imperfections in my cue. I never really thought of wearing a glove as having anything to do with my sexual orientation. What really hurts is if you think only pussies wear gloves and they beat you to a pulp. Cheers

John Schmidt, Thorbjorn Blomdahl, Earl Strickland, Mike Davis, and a host of other pros wear gloves. Take this argument up with them.

Michael( Only wears a glove SOMETIMES!)

:rotflmao1: We must think alike. I hate those glove things. I've been playing for almost 40 yrs, wouldn't know how to play with a glove.

I like the natural feel of the wood between the grip of my hands and fingers. :p

lol yeah but Earl Strictland the man who will wear/do anything that he thinks will improve his game. If you remember that huge weighted glove he used to wear & now the custom made shooting glasses with a blue-tinted lens. Not knocking on the man he is a phenomenal player.

In my opinion, it's kinda gay to make fun of people. It makes you look weak and distracted......

I see Brutes in my pool hall wearing gloves... I don't think much of it, except for the many ways they can kick my ass.

The way I see it it's just a glove so what, doesn't determine your sexuality, how good you are, what type of player you are etc.. It's all personal prefernece. So going off calling it "gay" whatever is a bit much.

I guess this subject is the same as making fun of players that:
dont have at least 6 points on their cue
or
use a certain color chalk
or
only wear tanktops when they play cuz they dont want to feel 'restricted'

TO each there own.

back on topic:

I tried a glove once and it felt 'funny'
